Log out and recent topics bug?

Anyone have the recent topics bug out where it shows none or few topics? Also getting logged out when I try to upload a picture in the full editor every time I try. Somehow got these to upload. Changed my password, reset my device and closed and opened the site but got these bugs again.

Just checked other topic upload attempts, seems to log me out at the Full sized Una Carha topic, I thought it was the picture but no, this is what I was trying to upload and it worked here and other topics

Also seems topics are coming back as they get updated

I haven't been logged out accidentally. But when I have logged out deliberately to switch to the doll account, it seems to have marked all topics as read. When I come back and use the 'show recent posts' page, it only shows posts made since my logout, rather than for the last couple of days or whatever it normally does. I assumed it was working as intended, rather than a bug.

1.) recent topics bug
As ausguin already wrote: "ALL recent posts" shows only new posts since your last logout.
So if you log out and back in directly, the list is empty or almost empty.
It's not a bug, it's supposed to be like this.

I personally don't use this function. I always look at "Unread posts" and after I've read waht looks interesting I click "Mark forums read". This is independent of any login/logout.

2.) Upload problem
There is no reason why you should get logged out only by uploading a picture. And no reason why uploading in one thread works and in another one not.
Does this happen more often or was it only at one time? Have you tried uploading your picture in the Full sized Una Carha topic once more?

Just did a post test in the full sized Una topic and it finally worked, didn’t get logged out.

But now I’m getting logged out if I go to Hershey Lee’s Eudoxie review and as soon as I leave the topic I get logged out again.

If it’s not one topic it’s another haha

Thanks for the video. Maybe an iPad or browser plugin issue, I'm assuming you only use the one device when this happens? I'm sure Tsall will have an idea.

You changed your TDF password? Most likely not needed.

Please be more specific. You made a full reset on your iPad and then restored everything from cloud backup?

"closed and opened the site"
Sadly this will not delete cache and cookies.

At the moment I can only imaging some strange behavior with Safari cache and cookies.

Please try the following:

logout from TDF
on the bottom of the main page tap on "Delete all board cookies" and confirm, with "yes"
close Safari and wipe it out of the task list
in iOS Settings > Safari > Clear history and cache

Then try again. I hope this solves your Problem.

Yea, i have been having similar issues on my samsung galaxy tablet using google chrome and my work station laptop using internet explorer 11 on windows 7 platform. Only seems to be random threads that it happens with though. I get logged out when i try to "quote reply" or type a response and then hit reply button. By random i mean it doesnt happen on every thread but the ones it does happen on it continually happens with. Also i have instance of hitting the all recent posts link and it will say something like i dont have permission and i will have to click the link a few times to get it to pop up with recent posts.

That said, I was able to remedy the issue on my tablet by clearing the app program cache files. But my laptop that didnt work for internet explorer 11. However the issue doesnt happen using google chrome on my laptop. Funny thing though.. The issue did happen using internet explorer on this exact thread. So im using chrome to create this post lol.

Zippy, thank you for your detailed pm to me. I was able to recreate the problem with IE 11 under Windows 7. And I think I found the reason for this bug. This problem happens with some browsers on pages with a video attachment.

Now I must find a solution.
