Just got an email from RLSD that Piper Dolls are now offered. So lovely but oh, so young looking. It appears Ariel is the only one offered.

We still have one more Piper Doll to add, and then will also be adding the Doll-forever dolls with changeable heads.

On a personal note... We really LOVE these Piper Dolls, they are incredibly soft feeling and the seamlessness of the attached head via a single mold is incredibly gorgeous. Makes you just want to kiss up that beautiful neck. Very nice quality on these dolls too, with the possible exception that the fingers feel a little too delicate. The skeleton is amazing and moves so fluidly. We've had them in our shop for several months now to test the quality and we've found the formula of the TPE is outstanding, It doesn't get oily, or tacky and no discernable scent either. Their makeup is flawless, head to toe. We just can't get enough of them! lol And man are they just beautiful to look at, stunningly gorgeous creatures! Can't even walk by without saying, "Hey, sexy" and giving a boob a jiggle, lol.

What would be wonderful and take a lot of work off you would be for the formula to change so washing/powdering would no longer be necessary.

Well, you are always going to need to keep your doll clean by cleaning after use and occasionally washing, no formula change is ever going to get around that.

We haven't had to powder these Piper Doll/Doll-forever dolls since we've had them though and they still feel oh so lovely. But we also haven't yet washed them. We'll wash the skin and do a test on how it feels afterward and let you know!

I guess I should have clarified that. I know she'll need the periodic cleaning and especially after you "romance" her. What I had in reference to primarily was the need for powdering to eliminate the tacky feel "after" a wash or spot cleanup. If you wash her from neck to feet it's going to take some time to dry, powder all over.

I would also like to know these results, as I ultimately elected to purchase a Piper Doll.

Result: After washing, as expected the skin still requires powdering to feel velvety smooth. But it's still the softest skin we've ever felt.

Another thing I've been meaning to ask, it looks like Piper dolls use a smaller overall size of replaceable insert. Are Piper dolls compatible with the larger stock inserts?

Or am I just imaging things entirely?

The Piper Dolls have a smaller profile insert than the WM Dolls insert. Still functions/accommodates the same just doesn't have the extra material in girth around the insert. We would not mix the two brands, for compatibilities sake, since they each have their own formula for TPE.

I think it's important to note that not all TPE is the same. TPE can be melted down and reused. If Piper uses first generation TPE, it could explain the superior soft skin quality. Poorly made knock off TPE dolls might use a recycled second or third generation TPE.

I now see all the new Piper dolls they are very cool but I hope they make more with normal looking bodies. I am not a large breast person and would love one in the 140 and A or B cup size breast I love the idea of these dolls. Something I had thought would be a really cool and more realistic alternative to ones with removable heads.
