My Nate has arrived

He arrived safely this morning. I had no idea just how heavy he is, especially in the crate. It took three of us to get the crate off the truck and I had to unbox him in the driveway with the help of a friend. They say the A body is around 110 lbs but in the handbook it is about equal to a human in weight. With his 42 inch chest that is much closer to the mark. I have his stand in the mail right now - probably here next week and I'm off to buy an office chair tomorrow to move him around the house. His name is Jesse and 29th August is his birthday - Virgo to my Pisces.

I must say he is hot though and well worth the wait although he ended up costing me close to $8,800. Import extras I hadn't counted on plus delivery. Customs free though.

Is one in the Egyptian outfit a Soom doll and the other one next to it Iplehouse? thought that hand looked like an Iplehouse guy hand.

Yes that is Soom Ender and Iplehouse Arvid. I have 6 Sooms and 16 Iplehouse dolls (plus many more as well). I mostly post theswe on the Small Adult Doll thread.

I have never seen two Arvids the same - mine is wearing a mohair hard cap wig that I made for him.

Two days old and now that I have my own strength back after the difficult unboxing, I am able to lift my heavy guy at last and wheel him around on a computer chair bought for that purpose. His stand arrived from Abys yesterday but I haven't used it on him yet. I must say it looks very strong.

The stand is super strong - very well designed and made. As long as you can lift your doll to hang him on it. I'm OK now but the Body A is very heavy.
