Newbie from Australia - need feedback on planned purchase

Post by Dabbo »

Hi everyone,

I briefly joined in on another thread a couple of days ago but thought I'd better introduce myself properly.
I started reading this forum a few years ago but only briefly for a few weeks (think it was after that Lars movie), then forgot all about it and the dolls.
Sometime last year I was watching some documentary on Qantas that reminded me again and I have been surprised as to how much prices have come down since I last looked.

Soooo.... I started researching and have decided that I want to start with a 'cheaper' doll for now to get my feet wet so to speak.
Knowing myself I will sooner or later end up with a fully fledged and full sized super model, but for now I'd like to explore the world of dolls with a smaller model that allows me to try her out, store her easily, see how much I really like them, make mistakes without risking a small fortune and so on.

After reading this forum I'm a bit put off with importing myself, especially since I'm looking for a smaller doll. I also don't like to wait once I have made up my mind.

So I found this beauty on ebay:
https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/122799413109

I'm not sure what brand she is and what not but the pics seem real and I personally think she is just gorgeous.

What could possibly go wrong? You tell me, please!

Thanks for reading and hoping to get some feedback!

Hi Pal,

Yep, I offered to help, so I will.

Give that a big miss.

The doll is not made by an TDF accredited maker, nor any other non TDF accreditted maker that I would consider as credible. The doll is listed as silicone tpe. No such thing. She is NOT silicone at all, but some undisclosed quality of TPE.

My concern is the toxicity and certifcation of the TPE product used in that make. Camilla Coy adult dolls is NOT a known brand, and I can find no credible listing for the maker at All.

Additionaly the face on that Doll will likely get you a knock on the door from the boys in blue (so the add could also be an entrapment add for the unwarry, as it is certainly aimed at the doll adult novice as well) who will ask some confronting questions.

Additionally the doll is too expensive for that size doll, and notwithstanding import hassles with the 100s of late, you would get a far superior 100 from a certified and accreditted maker through an accreditted vendor for less than that.

Just my expert advice mate.

Be patient and have a good think about what you really want form a doll, and what you budget and height/weight preferences are to start with, as most starter dolls are TPE, but there are some affordable asian made silicone options as well.

If you still do not believe me, that is likely a doll that retails local chinese market for like 50 dollars Ozzy, has been sent by a chinese backyard vendor to "Family in Australia" to avoid any import hassles and will be resold on eBay. I am surprised they even let that listing through, based on the "objectionable material" import restriction shedules IAW AUST CUSTOMS (PROHIBITED IMPORTS) REGULATIONS 1956

Section 4A1A(b) I have detailed many times here. viewtopic.php?p=1193447#p1193447

Non-approved vendor - PASS
100cm doll will arouse Customs suspicion - PASS
Face looks too young - PASS
If doll is found by girlfriend etc there will be big problems, especially as she is so petite and young looking - PASS
Will likely get ripped off ie either wrong product or doll will fall apart quickly - PASS

There are lots of better options - maybe a torso doll (refer Sexy Real Sex Dolls website under torso)
If you specifically want a really petite doll then maybe try the Piper doll range. They have both a 100cm and a 130cm doll range.

Basically anything that is in the 100-130cm can be risky with customs, combine that with a youngish looking face and you could find yourself in a lot of trouble. A torso doll is a good option - around 85cm, range from 15-30 kilos and are fairly cheap at $900-1400.

Also - if you want petite then the 6YE 132cm might work for you. She is only 15kgs with decent sized breasts and looks more mature but still young and playful like an 18-20 year old. She might suit your needs best. I think that Sexy Sex Dolls sell her.

Thanks to both of you, I really appreciate your input!

A few more questions that came up if I may:

1. From the listing it appears that the doll is already in Australia, it specifically states that they have been legally imported and ship from Brisbane. If this is really the case, how would I get into trouble if I purchase one of these?
From the bit of email convo I had with the seller a while ago it doesn't sound like a setup. He had one in stock originally which someone bought, I asked him if he had more and he said he would get more in Mid January. Apparently I wasn't the only one asking either.

2. Is there a list of approved dolls somewhere that I can refer to?
I also admit I have trouble decifering all those abbreciations like YD dolls or whatever they all are. Is there a glossary somehwere here?

3. Could you please point me in the right direction to where I would get a "far superior doll from an accredited vendor for less than that"?
I just haven't seen anything much cheaper than this, other than direct imports from China. If there are better options in the same league then I'd love to know.

Just trying to get my head around all of this.
Thanks so much to both of you and anyone else who'd like to chime in.

So the doll is part of a "send to family in Australia from China" brokerage import bypass.

The AFP trawls ebay and simmilar sites looking for fish, and has the software to track IP to you the bidder or buyer (they do this for all prohibitted imports see: https://www.homeaffairs.gov.au/busi/car ... restricted - even items resold on the domestic local AU maket. Do not even start me on firearms component  , that alone dollies that can be prosecuted on).

Additionally, like I said the doll can be used against you under current law interpreation of what consititutes illegal pornography in Aus, based purely on the interpretaion of a "reasonable person" (who is unlikely to have ever seen an adult doll before).

http://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/law-or ... 6ba1f4b373

http://www.news.com.au/national/western ... b56bd2a859

http://www.watoday.com.au/wa-news/perth ... xzib7.html

All these items where advertised online as local AUS Stock, but were drop shipped from the AU storefront from SE Asia to the buyers address, who by default becomes the importer...yes different to the sent to family in Asut scenario, but you see how this can be counted against the buyer, who did not realise there was still an import risk, and they would were the damage.

So the other issue is, if the Ebay deal fails or has misadventure, are you confident to represent the problem with the item in the public domain, or in court if required noting the advice given.

Regarding suitable 100s, that should not have Customs issues, I will PM you the links. ATM, TDF vendors do NOT have a sale period on, but when they do, usually 3-4 times a year, that is when you get the comprable prices I discussed.

the goal is to import a dolly for under the threshold of total 1000 AUD to avoid import dutie and custom fee rape.

I would also like to add something to this which you probably missed in the writing they used.
Please note that her head always stays slightly tilted to the side, she feels that she looks the most alluring that way.
Now look at all the pictures of her, she is looking left in all of them which leads me to believe she has a fault in her neck so she might not even be new and they are just looking to pawn her off to someone who doesn't know anything about dolls. As for the size I have a 100cm myself and they are a great starter doll but australia has become pussified when it comes to dolls now and making loads of stupid laws. I say if you're gonna buy a bigger doll anyway then just jump into the deep end and get the one you really want. Yeah it's more expensive but a quality dolls will be with you for at least 5 years if you look after her well, it's worth the extra cash.
