I'm interested in the doll forum since I like communities that share an interest with me. I have a history of anxiety and decided to get a doll to help calm my nerves. So far, it does help keep my mind off of things that worry me. Anyway, nice to meet everyone.

I have anxiety as well. (Social as well as general) So I know what that's all about. But the good news is that my dolls do indeed have a calming affect on me.
Hopefully your doll will help you as well.

Hi Orful, yeah I'm another one with anxiety issues, had a doll in my life over 3 weeks now and she helps me immensely, when I'm with her I feel relaxed and happy. Dolls are wonderful.

I agree these Beautiful Dolls do have a calming effect along with giving a sense of well being, these are just a few of the benefits that come with all the others...Welcome

Welcome, Orful! Glad to hear that your doll companion has helped you. Mine helped me rapidly process the emotional fallout from a second failed marriage and I've been much happier in the past two years than I had been for quite some time. Looking forward to seeing you around here!

That's great. I get a lot of emotional stability. I was a wreck pursuing or keeping a relationship. I made a lot of bad choices before dolls.

Welcome to the bunch. My girls have definatly heloed me with anxiety and what not. Its an amazing feeling to bring them to life and they make amazing cuddle pillows. Dont know if i could sleep if i didnt have rica or izzy with me.
