Hello All,

I have recently acquired my new doll and absolutely love her. It seemed that every time I searched for answers to questions I have had, I found my answers on TDF or some link (usually a video) recommended by a TDF member. I am so grateful for all of the information made available here. I am still learning, but hope to contribute as much as I am able.

My doll is a WM Doll ordered from an affiliate vendor. She has a #233 head, (Jinsan has the most beautiful faces I have ever seen!). The body is WM but the one I received is not the one I thought I was ordering. I will comment about that elsewhere, as this is not the appropriate place. I am not totally displeased with my purchase, as she is quite beautiful.

When time and opportunity allow, I will post photos. Currently, I am getting her cleaned up and experimenting with different looks.

I cannot over-emphasize this enough... THANK YOU ALL for your contributions to this forum.

No connection to the Netherlands. I figured a Dutch Husband is the spouse of a "dutch wife" so that's me.

My girl is Kelly. She is a WM 168 with a 233 head. I'll post photos when I can.
As she is my first, I am still experimenting with different wigs, make-up, etc. I love shopping for clothes for her but it is difficult find things that fit. (I have invested in lots of safety pins!)
I am looking forward to doing some photo shoots with her.

I keep thinking about that song by the Monkees:

Here she is... my girl, Kelly.
This is how she looked when she first arrived (stock wig, no make-up, etc.). She looks a bit jet-lagged from her trip over from China.

I love her long dark hair. I got a some good pics of it that are uploaded to her album.
But cheap wigs are cheap wigs and long hair sheds like crazy! So we discussed her options.
She said she would like to try going blonde, because "blondes have more fun".
So a quick trip to the Party Store and a refresh on her make-up and...

Ta-Da!
