New petite doll fan

Hello all. I've been lurking here off and on for about two years and just took the plunge to order my first doll from Jeff at BCD earlier this week.

Looking back, I think my journey started strangely enough with my guitar hobby. After messing around with various Fender Stratocasters with different specifications, I began forming the perfect guitar in my mind. Of course nobody made one with exactly those specs. I then decided to make my own by piecing it together myself from individual parts. After succeeeding at this I half jokingly thought "wouldn't it be great to design the perfect female in the same way". My thoughts were more along the lines of using a computer program to build the perfect body and face to meet my specifications, then virtually dress, pose, and interact with it however I liked.

While searching the web for a "virtual woman" I stumbled into this world which I had no idea even existed. My initial excitement was tempered by the observation that none of the dolls pictured suited my tastes. I am one of those weirdos who is turned off by pornstars with buckets of makeup and huge fake balloons in the place of breasts. I am a fan of modest curves, slim hips and a very petite but firm and athletic build. This market segment seemed to be non-existent when I first started looking. So, while I was intrigued and excited by the idea of an actual physical doll, I was skeptical that any would ever appeal to me. There was also the little issue of being in a 20 year marriage to a woman who still was appealing to me physically but had fallen severely off the rails in the mental department. I knew even if an appealing doll did exist, there was not much I could do but admire it online.

Fast forward ~6 months and I came back here to do more browsing. I knew I hadn't seen all of the options available yet and I kept thinking that there must be a doll out there closer to what I would like. At that point I found WM dolls and specifically the WM168 A cup. The only skin tone pictured at that time was black, but the body was near perfection. If anything it was too thin for me in the legs and arms, but I knew myself well enough to know that I could could tolerate that much more than too thick. To my surprise I was actually sexually aroused by pictures of a doll. I thought this was probably just me being in a particularly desperate mood at the time so I made a note to myself to check back later to see if my feelings would change. Over the next several months I did come back and found that I really was consistently turned on by this inanimate object. By that time there were a few more picture sets available so I started digging around to find as many as possible since that was really all I could do because of my personal situation.

Jump ahead to this spring and I had been out of my marriage and on my own (with my daughter) for about a year. I thought for a while that I would eventually want another relationship, but I'm increasingly seeing that as something I probably will never want again. My mind drifted back to creating the perfect female companion and the doll world I had discovered so back here I came. I was pleased to find another doll at that point which appealed to me: the very popular WM157B. I started seriously thinking about the possibility of purchasing a doll at that point but I knew I would have to wait until my daughter headed off to college in the fall.

I debated the pros and cons of buying a doll for the last few months. Part of me felt like it would be good for me, but another side felt like it would be something I would tire of quickly and end up being a waste of time/money. In the end I think what pushed me other edge was a realization that this is more than a sexual desire which might pass quickly. What I really missed was being able to hold/cuddle/caress something beautiful. I had not experienced this for many years with my wife even when we were still together. I did find a similar experience when my daughter adopted two kittens recently and I enjoyed having them curl up beside me and take a nap. This made me realize that I was looking for more than just sexual gratification.

Once the decision to buy a doll was made, I had to decide between WM168A and WM157B, which was very difficult. I think I would be happy with either, but in the end I went with the 168 (light tan) and a 159 head. My daughter will be moving out the weekend of August 18'th and my new "partner" should be arriving the following week. I'm probably most excited about finding clothes (especially jeans) that will fit her well, learning to position her and starting some photo shoots. I hope to establish a presence here and share with others who appreciate the "skinny girls".

I hope slimdoll sees your message. I've been in contact with him and he's very happy. We talk because we both have WM168A. She is so hot. He should post more pictures. He has dressed her many times. I'm too lazy to change her so much.

Thanks MrVitalic. Based on your avatar photo, I believe I have admired you pictures in the past. I love the natural woman you would meet in a park or out hiking in the woods look, vs. the glammed up girl you would see at a nightclub. You also have the doll I almost ordered and could be my second doll if I ever feel the need for another.

Regarding my experience so far, it has been very positive, but not perfect. In this way it is similar to a real relationship since there is no perfect woman, no perfect relationship. I tend to wear myself out trying new clothes with her and dressing/undressing/posing her to capture the image in my mind of how she should look. It is hard to capture this ideal however which can get frustrating. Posing her is a real challenge for now while I am learning and one of her legs is extremely stiff. Once I relax, let go of capturing perfection and just enjoy her for what she is, it is all good. I love caressing her body, kissing her, and going to sleep beside her. I can feel my tension and stress melt away as I lay beside her and wrap my arms around her.

We skinny girl lovers are a distinct minority around here.

The huffty girl lovers are ruling the market now, they have a ton of choices, but for me it's getting boring watching fat-ass/mega boob parade of new releases. But hey, whatever works for ya is fine by me.

I think petite to normal is catching up some.
The BBW/ big tit doll models are pretty much saturated. Now we have mini dolls w/ tits to their knees just to gain new market. Even got a 3 tit doll. Just need a doll w/ one 24" diameter tit in the middle.

I pretty much agree with that one, it can make TDF quite trying at times!

There are some great dolls out there, but a lot I really don't care for at all. I'd like to see more small breast dolls and normal sizes to be honest.
