WOW! Thank you one and all for the wonderful birthday wishes! I am very touched.

I turned 50 today. I still feel like I am that impish 9 year old I once was and that I should let her run amok more often. It's amazing to have 41 years being 9. I am GOOD at that! Poor Rari and the girls have their hands full with me. But seriously, I have been contemplating much the past few weeks. Many good friends and family members didn't get as long as I have... It makes me realize this is not a dress rehearsal and to really do what makes you happy and dump the BS. Life is too short for anything else. If you really want something... Find a way to make it happen. Whether it's getting your first doll or doing what you love. DO IT! Sometimes you have to get really creative... Trust me... You can get very creative and make things happen!

I had planned to take today and last Thursday off since the new year and am off today. Just been doing stuff around the house and hopefully will have enough energy to dress someone up and play with the camera my sweet girls gave me for my BD. I will likely go see my folks later. My Mom isn't able to go out yet and I have to say that the best BD gift this year is that she is still here with me. That so easily could have not been the case and I realize it. So love your friends and family - organic and synthetic and thanks from the bottom of my heart for all the friendship and kindness you've all shown me.
