Hi,

this is a summary of what was going in the doll world in the 33rd week of 2019, as far as we at Dollstudio & DS Doll Europe were concerned.

1) New arrivals.

This week, six new heads were introduced:

5) Miscellanous.

Indigo is back from his hospital visit and will start next week to process the orders from July. We expect that shipping out the old orders will take until early September.

After the backlog is cleared, Indigo's care & repair products will become available again for new orders.

Hi! Noticed you've restored the Gynoid Tech store on your site... does this mean that they are no longer on your blacklist? I was thinking about getting a Gynoid 160cm but am now thinking twice after reading some of the rather scathing reviews here... would you advice me to look elsewhere to spend my 4500+ dollars were I in the market for one?

@blackavenue: GT has never been on my blacklist. That one, as well as the suspension penality, is still reserved for significant wrongdoing like non-delivery of paid orders, delivering wrong dolls, refusing replacements, or not covering for a shipping loss or other recurring s**t I am not willing to swallow. GT is far away from these kinds of problems.

Unpublishing products can have a multitude of reasons; e.g. Indigo's care & repair products are currently unpublished as well, simply because we can not process new orders as we are still working through a backlog from his hospital stay.

Regarding Gynoid, I think you should really give it some serious thought what you expect from a doll in this price range. From what I can tell, the GT dolls are quite good for sex, as long as you do not expect them to have anal or oral orifices. They are excellent for photography, as long as you do not expect them to reliably stand. They have incredible strenghts like the jointed fingers and the brilliant eye mechanism, but they also have weaknesses - not unlike any other doll. Just the areas with strengths and weaknesses shift around from doll to doll, and from brand to brand.

A couple of days ago, Gynoid has completed my first customer order smoothly; judging from the first feedback, the customer is happy, and that's what matters in the end. In his case, he wanted a companion for bed, so standing capability and reliability of joints did not matter so much as in a doll intended for showcasing or photography. So for a bed companion, a GT seems to be quite suitable.

The next step will be to inspect a replacement for my own doll - in case I get one - and check out if joints will loosen after a couple of days, and to look into the silicone adhesive issue. If these topics are relevant for your use case, I'd recommend to wait a bit to see how this will go.
