With Monica, we are finishing AS Doll's exclusive head lineup.

IMHO, it's an impressive lineup, with quite a number of distinct and attractive faces.

But there is more - about two dozend generic heads. So AS will keep us company for some more time

I saw these pictures of the AS-166/D a few weeks ago on the website of another German vendor. In my personal opinion this are the best pictures of this doll. We can see her fit body, nearly no clothes hiding her nice sculpt. And I like the head.

This picture is my favorite:

I have some questions. I hope you can answer at least some of them.

Is the advertised weight of 38 kg including head or without head?
Is the advertised weight the real weight?
There are at least two topics in the AS Doll subforum stating her weight as 50 kg (Gina, Betsy).
Bust/waist/hip on your website (89/51/86) differ from other websites or the AS Doll links from above (85/59/90).
Is she 166 cm tall when standing flat on her feet or when standing on her toes like in the picture above?
Are shrugging shoulders available?
Does she have a goose neck or hinged neck?
Does she have hand plates or wires from her arm through her palms to the fingers?
Does AS offer the same quick head connector as JY?
Is it possible to get this doll in the same skin color than my doll Lucia which is from a different vendor but same factory?

@Tsall: I guess you you already know the answers to these questions from my comments between the lines since you are asking very specifically.

For the skeleton one of the rare depictions is viewtopic.php?f=227&t=105507. Caveat emptor: This skeleton is supposed to be used only in AS-161 and AS-164. And the pictures are about a month old, so there is some probability that something has changed in the meantime.

Regarding specified height and weights, the typical tolerances are ~10% for sizes/heights and up to ~20-30% for weights. If you buy Chinese you have to live with that. Sometimes there are exceptions, and from time to time even positive surprise - currently especially from DS. But generally the Chinese specs are rather estimates than measurements in the Western sense.

She is beautiful. Too much dead weight for my personal preferences, but she is beautiful nonetheless. I love the face sculpt.

I've been eyeing this doll for a while and she is definitely my type. A few more pictures like more factory pics would really help.

She is definitely on my list, too. I have the AS 168 with 3 heads and the AS 161 with Raven head. I am quite happy with both. I look for dolls with about 90-60-90 measurements and 40-45 kg. She fits that bill with a nice sculpt. Dollsampler, also gives his

on this doll as to realism.
