EX Doll just announced a new variant of their 'UK-170 EVO', over here known as Doll Sweet DS-167 Evo.

Hi,

after pointing out that 'Neil' is an (as far as I can tell unambiguously) male name, Doll Sweet will probably rename the head to Nell (nick name for Eleanor, referring to the 1994 movie with Jodie Foster).

In Chinese, her name is 若亦 respectively Ruò yì, in Japanese this would transliterate to 'Waka Hitoshi' and mean 'young'.

This is funny and strange, because Nell looks just like I'd imagine my Nele to look like if she were a real human person.
I always thought I would probably get away with upgrading her body one day (or have to) while keeping the head and with it her personality.
Now I'm thinking about upgrading Nele to a whole new body and head, but can you do that without changing "her"?
And what would I do with her "mortal remains" after doing the upgrade... It's an ethical dilemma...

@nukeno: A 'Seelenwanderung' ist not too uncommon among dolls. Just think of Karrot's Xiaoli.

When Nele's spirit has moved, the old body will be an empty shell, available to receive a new spirit or to sleep until a frog kisses her, like in the fairy tale. Or the frog's spirit moves into Nele's body, which would be… just weird, especially if she starts to turn green like Jennifer Walters, Bruce Banner's cousin.

If things go seriously wrong or you don't operate the Doli-Brayn Swop-o-matic properly, her spirit might split into two personalities and truly horrible things might happen, like a good (angelic) and an evil (devilish) Nele. She migh even grow horns, like mine did. Not sure yet if I need to worry, her horns are still small…

However, if the 'Seelenwanderung' works and her spirit doesn't get lost, Nele would probably have to grow into a DS-167 Evo with S-class makeup (that's what is shown in Neil's/Nell's photos above and what the latest DS heads require). This doll would be the perfect torturing device for yourself - expensive as sh**, sexy as fu**, but you wouldn't be able to get intimate with her.

Lol, I'm beginning to believe that we might be “seelenverwandt”...

Well, Nele has to die one day that's unavoidable anyway, but her spirit will live on one way or another.
(Snow White's glass coffin project isn't of the table yet either.)

But we've made other plans for doll-season 2018/19.
Nele has to shed light in the darkest corners of my soul still and therefor cannot transcend herself yet.

And speaking of torture: knowing that Nell exists out there beyond my reach (for now), is yet another nail in my own glass-coffin.

Maybe another reason why we are going to turn the tables this season: my doll-worshiping days end with finishing the Mamamba project.
Then we will contact you (probably in November) about “casting” a "torture-able" slave doll...

Wait what? The new S-class heads are only compatible with Evo bodies but not with the older/regular ones?

@nukeno: It's more the other way around. Some of the newer heads are not sold separately, and they are only made with S-level makeup, and some heads require the 'special' skin color.

Hence my strong advocacy for a seamless head/body doll line from DS Doll. Its time.
