Yes djcdoll I quite agree...It's puzzling at times but I am not going to let it frustrate me anymore. And thanks again for the kind words!djcdoll wrote:I think that's the fascinating thing about photographing our girls, you can't really predict which of your own photos gets the most attention from everybody else.Mr_Fix_it wrote: Thanks Tor, I was a bit surprised at how much everyone likes that one as originally I wasn't going to post it.
Anyway, I agree with Tor as I said earlier, your silky kimono image is a great shot.
Haha Thanks parkwaybrides, Yes I will post more as time permits! I do hope you find some words soon.parkwaybrides wrote:I have no words.... please post more
Thanks Ragnar, I like the very same things on that shot too.
Katja seems to know what sort of shots I like to photograph!

I got to learn from your photo shooting skills some more, as your "style" suits my own intended one fairly well. I like that warm ambient - more depth and focus way better than what I see around at TDF most the times. I have a fairly crappy old cam (Traveler DC 8500 ) but maybe you have some tips for me nonetheless?

She looks gorgeous. Love the top with the tiny polka dots, and her jeans are great and fit perfectly.

Here are some thoughts and opinions on Photography. (You can take these as tips I guess) First... If you want to take tack sharp images, I think you should upgrade from your old 8 megapixel point and shoot. Those were great when they first came out but the eight megapixel sensor is just too weak IMO. Now having said that I would be remiss if I neglected to say... "Cameras don't take great pictures. People do!" It's in the details, the subject, the poses, the lighting, the background, the whole setup if you will! So you don't need a great big expensive camera with all the gear to get great shots but you do need to know your camera well and what it can and cannot do.
If you’re not ready or willing to upgrade to a DSLR and the steep learning curve that goes with it you could consider a newer cellphone camera, Some of those are quite advanced these days. Then there's post processing... find yourself some photo editing software that you’re comfortable with to do final tweaks to your images. I hope this helps. Cheers.
Happy Shooting

What venues is Seneca playing this month?
I would like to drop in on one, or all of them
Great job on the photos.

Sorry SL, Seneca suffers from extreme stage fright so she only does private performances.StormiLover wrote:Hey Mr_Fix_It,
