WM dolls, compatibility with other brand heads?

I have a WM157 doll, with head WM162. Currently, this doll looks awesome. If over the longer term the head is damaged, or I simply wish to buy a different one, which brands/numbers will actually be compatible?

All the Jinsan heads will be compatible (providing that they are not the smaller ones) with the WM157, so WM/YL and OR are all interchangeable having the same M16 connection.

Lots of heads interchange, but matching flesh tone can be a challenge. Varies quite a bit sometimes.

Well my lady here is a YL with a WM head. So it can work.

Switching heads isn't a problem when getting a new doll as your vendor can coordinate efforts between the manufacturers to ensure a matching skin tone.
The problem will be trying to get a matching skin tone when getting a new head for an older body or a new body for an older head due to the fact that the manufacturers tend to chance tpe blends and make color changes over time.
But it will still work if you don't mind the skin tone being a little off.

So, any properly-sized YL/OR/WM TPE head will fit without the need for an adaptor of any kind?

Yes, they use the same attachment so there shouldn't be any issues as far as fitment.

Yes, in these cases no adapter is required.

However including adapters you have even more options. Below is a picture of an adapter to connect a JM Head with a WM Doll:

And there exists even more adapters for other doll heads.
