3 months, is all that is needed, it was previously 6 months, and prior to that 12 months, but the laws have been changed over the last 30 years. No idea why

Even better, we now have same sex approved marriage, and 3 month defacto clauses. Divorce lawyers on settlement commissions are rejoicing

First of all, I gotta say, this doll is the reason why I took any notice of dolls in any serious way. The marketing its getting on a certain website is... extreme. Still, it has caught the eye of a lot of people on that website so I guess it paid off!
I'm not buying a WMdoll myself, but I won't for a second pretend that the WM-163H isn't impressive.

As for the common law marriage thing, three months? God, that's scary. Really scary. I was horrified when I learnt that its just a single year for Canada.
Thankfully I live in England and although common mistake is that CLM is a thing here, its only colloquial and nothing binding by law. Mind you, there's still the chance of false accusations that could easily be pressed.
This is a part of why I was so quick to warm up to dolls once I'd seen how far they'd progressed since I last knew them to be years ago; and also the price.
Due to being here in the UK, "RealDoll" is what I always thought before because its a western company, and thus has that edge on the western marketing -- not that I'd really seen much of it anyway.
Still, I looked at their website after having a quick browse of one of the Chinese eBay-alikes, I went to a different group of people who focus on a more broad spectrum of men's toys and they directed me here to do my research. Bleedin' glad they had!
Without this place, I wouldn't have found my choice of poison (poison? yup. my doll has poisoned my patience to wait for her to arrive!! lol).

Seriously though, relationships and marriage are in a really, really scary place right now - and there I thought it was bad enough just a couple of years ago when getting rejected constantly seemed like it hurt bad enough.
Watching my family and friends go through divorces, rough relationships where nobody was getting any net positive, going through the odd short term relationship only to get burnt and constantly let down... dolls are the way forward for me, and in a way, I think for society too. If enough men got into dolls rather than letting themselves go through bad relationships because its better than using a hand, well, I think society would take the hint and start seeing the problems it had created.
I know I haven't been through a divorce myself, first hand as the one being divorced, but damn do I know all about them first hand as the child going through two of them. My heart goes out to the guys unfortunate enough to get screwed over by them.
My new motto now; save a dollar; buy a doll.

Maybe you should start a blog name "Dolls vs Porn" as a way to promote the idea that dolls should and will replace porn. Can you imagine the interests and publicity and changes you'd bring? I think you're unto something big - this idea. I'm in business and tech and have predicted trends like 15 yrs ago that are happening now; and you are probably 99% right if the right person pushes this notion. Can you tell I hate porn? I hate it and even more so now that there are dolls. You're prob a genius.

it's because of the hyperbole, a crowd saying something of epic proportions 'like women are nothing now' is going unlock a vault of salt; the results would be different if it was advertised professionally (to the mainstream). i never believed dolls were creepy, there was indifference and yeah this doll came and changed my mind. i'm going to get married and my fiancee (who is very open minded) said she can respect me having a doll only in my own privacy. people like to cry and whine, it's a given. they would rather be stubborn than think outside the box. i don't believe this will replace anybody but what i do believe is (and this was written beautifully by someone whose username i cannot remember unfortunately) that with the increasing realism of these dolls this CAN and WILL be an alternative to pornography and even animated pornography, something tangible at last. you don't have to feel impotent anymore because you can't touch what's inside your computer. being able to do anything to a perfect looking female without judgement is just appealing; from just looking and admiring the beautiful form of it to something more intimate.
i'm sure later on it will be normalized just like many other things before this.
