Shrugging shoulders? Anyone got em yet?

I'm working on my order for a new WM 163 and I saw pictures of this option..... I knew I had to have it! It gives such an expression, especially if you like the shy look! So does anyone own one of the new skeletons with this addition? If so could you post a bit (maybe pics or even a quick video) on the movement that the doll has with this option! It would also be great to know how to adjust them safely! So give us your technique if you have one!

Yep, my JY153 has them, and no goose neck either. It's really a useless feature. How often does your doll need to shrug? They go up/down/forward/backward, and now you have to hold the doll's shoulders when you position her arms to keep her shoulders from moving. The elimination of the goose neck is a much bigger deal. It was the weak link. It's a solid skeleton, and Jinsan will be using almost the same one very soon. They get them from the same place. So claims Joyce of OR, but JY still beat them by a couple months. LOL.

Good point Begog,

Also id like to add as someone who routinely sleeps with my doll on her side that i'm worried over time as the joints become loose it could become a problem where the shoulders could extend as i move during my sleep, causing potential stretching/tearing/sadness of the tpe under her arms.

Not as big of a deal if you don't spoon with your girl on a daily basis i guess but for that reason i won't be getting the upgraded skeleton for now.... a pity because i'd love to go with the new hinged neck.

THE GOOSE NECK SUCKS!!!
I'd go with the upgraded skeleton just to get away from that ticking time bomb they call a goose neck. TPE is quite stretchy, and I don't foresee the shoulders causing a problem, although admittedly, mine is only a month old. But, I haven't torn up my 2015 WM155DD (below) yet, and she has survived 750+ TOUGH romps. 8O

Did her goose neck break? No, but it is quite loose and floppy like everything else about this doll after so many uses. I fear the whole head will come off at some point, but that hasn't happened. It creaks too. The only thing broken is 9 fingers and a toe. The fingers came loose one by one (they have since improved the hands) and I bashed the toe in by accident. Having said all that, she is still dynamite in the sack. You don't need hands to fuck!

Thank you for all the info guys! I've definitely taken a number of things into account for this. That thread was especially awesome, seeing the skeleton gives me very good idea of the motion that it will be capable of. I'm not a huge fan of spooning anymore these days as my own shoulders have gotten a bit bad! So she'll be sleeping on her back next to me! I actually think I would use the feature quite a bit in photos, not to mention posing her in a cute position to greet me when I get home each day!

Agree its primarily for photography purposes. It doesn't appear to give much benefit for sexual activity. It certainly gives extra range of expressions though and it might give a greater range of motion as well - I know mine can't touch her mouth or nose with her fingers, maybe the new skeleton allows this (though an extra hinge in the elbow would do just as well).

From what I've read, eventually all the 135+ cm skeletons will switchover to this model with shrugging shoulders and hinged neck, but for now its on a limited run so it costs extra. I haven't checked elsewhere, but RLSD has it as a $75 extra charge on their Blair model so that seems to be the going rate. If you're going to spend roughly $2000 for a doll to be used heavily for photography, then maybe its a worthwhile option. If you only want a bed pal, its probably not worth the cost.

Sort of the reverse of the enhanced tongue feature for heads: people who want to French kiss their dolls may get a kick out of it and pay extra, but its worthless for photography purposes.
