I took a look around, but really couldn't find a topic on this. Has anyone tried these stamp on eyebrows before? I was wondering if they are worth buying. Here's one from Amazon, https://www.amazon.com/Ladygo-Waterproo ... BROWS&th=1

You can try them, but things that stick to human skin don't always to TPE or silicone.

The best solution for TPE is a brown (or black if you prefer) Ultra Fine Sharpie pen.

The one you showed me seem better, thanks! :glou: I'll have to order some. I seen some Youtube videos on the stamp on eyebrows, and they seem nice, but probably wouldn't look very good on a doll. It seems you need to have at least some eyebrows for the stamp on to work. Oh well, it was just a thought.

I watched a Video With Matt McMullen touching up one of his RealBotix dolls with a Sharpie.

I didn't know you could use a sharpie on a TPE doll. I thought it would soak in, and leave permanent black blotches. I owned a Candy Eighteen doll long ago, but the TPE dolls are new to me. I'm learning new things everyday! :)

That's what the eyebrow stamp is. A powder. You dip/rub the stamp into the powder, then press it onto the doll where you'd like the eyebrow to be. It seemed simple enough.

I made my own stencils and dabbed black eyeliner to transfer the shape.
Then I filled it in with a black and brown eyebrow pencil.

Yes. Sharpies, at least those in Fine and Ultra Fine should give enough control to avoid splotching. They should be excellent for freckles and tattoos too, though I've mostly only done eyebrows. I used a black to color a bit of Brie's eyelash and inside her nostrils though.

Alcohol ink will last a very long time. I consider it semi-permanent as it will fade over time or leech out. I have to touch up her eyebrows periodically because my chin might brush against them at night, but I haven't had to touch the nostrils yet.

My actual technique is to use the dark brown Sharpie as a base, then cover with a lighter brown eyebrow pencil which gives it some texture for photos. The end result looks just about as good as factory though you're welcome to judge for yourself by checking out some of Brie's recent photosets where I've done this.

Great tips team, Loving the work ScoterCa has done with Daria as well.

I reckon you may need this gadget to keeps things symetrical and precise.

Well if you do it before the old ones wear off, you don't really need a guide.

Waiting until the eyebrows are completely gone is probably waiting too long.
