Keiko today, in natural light.

Have I mentioned you do a wonderful job with makeup?!

Thanks JCnine, actually Keiko's head was one I got from another member and she needed a bit of a make over and new eye lashes so I cleaned her face completely of all makeup and started from scratch. For her eye brows, I did get an eye brow stamp which worked really well but I wasn't keen on the shape they made so in the end I did them myself with an eye brow pencil. Head 85 is really pretty in the flesh, so to speak, as I'm sure you will agree as your Yumiko looks stunning. I have a female friend that comes to visit me now and then but also likes to check out my girls and she says Keiko is her favourite as she says she is so cute!

Well done Arthur1960, Keiko is a cutie pie. You deserve a lot of credit for how lovely she looks. Also this is the first time I've seen the washer idea for standing feet. I may have to look into that.

Hi Mr_Fix_It and thanks for your comments, yes Keiko is as cute as a barrel of kittens, head 85 is a lovely face, as demonstrated by your beautiful pics of the lovely Seneca. The washers on the foot bolts thing was an idea I borrowed from another forum member and I'm sure that it does give some benefit as the load is spread over a wider surface plus the surrounding tpe on the foot has a degree of protection. I've also pushed a short piece of 5mm tubing over the bolt thread leaving about 10mm of thread exposed to allow it to be screwed back into the foot plate but the rest of the threaded section is covered, this seemed like a good idea as I had seen pics of the damage that can occur with standing feet and wanted to protect them as much as possible. It does seem to work as you can see from that recent pic of the bottom of Keiko's feet and she stands permanently and gets moved about a fair bit.

I thought her name sounded familiar. I figured out why today. Her name reminds me of the character Kyoko from the movie Ex Machina.

Anyway, I enjoyed working my way thru this thread. Keiko has so many great photos.

Keiko actually gets her name from Keiko O'Brien in Star Trek TNG. I always liked the name so when Keiko arrived it seemed to fit, I do that with the names for my gals, I have a few names that stick in my head and when a new gal arrives I see which one suits her, I should have noticed the similarity to Kyoko from Ex Machina as I watched that again recently!
