I am one of those with a TPE allergy so I know how distressing this is for you. My suggestion would be to remove her from storage and let her outgas on a towel or something similar. Wear latex or nitrile gloves and wash her off every couple of days. Give her a good few weeks to purge a lot of the oil and chemicals from her system.

I the meantime try the aforementioned steps to see if you can pinpoint exactly where the allergic reaction is coming from. I am lucky in that my ladies are all 4 silicone but I have had toys I wasn't so lucky with. I also had a bad reaction to one of the TPE girls at a dollmeet so I am unfortunately screwed when I see a pretty TPE girl I can never have.

That sucks. 8O
At the dollmeet, did you touch the TPE doll or did you get an allergic reaction just by beeing in the same room? Was that doll new and still gave out that "new" smell, or was she older? I'm interested in learning more about this hopefully very rare condition.

Hi Everybody,
Just a quick update.
Ami has been resting in my spare room for the last 3 days, She is in her case but open to air, there is still a distinct odour in the room, which is very strong if I leave the door closed for an hour or more. She is tacky again too, I powdered her last time on Saturday. The rashes have begun to heal, at least they are not driving me crazy with itching anymore! I have been running some tests in the meantime and can rule out the new Mattress, still sleeping in my bed, probably the detergent too as I washed all of the bedding that Ami had lain on. and corn starch, which I have been applying to my good bit of arm. I have yet to try the wigs.
I'm going to give her another bath and powder this afternoon.

Cheers,

Tyr

Make sure you leave a window open in that room!
And good luck!

Thanks everyone for the suggestions and advise. I have one of these TPE dolls on the way and want to avoid allergic reactions myself. I think the week or so for curing and airing out as well as a good soapy wash down is the way to go. After all, you have waited this long to play.... what is a couple more weeks to avoid possible reactions? ☺

Oh, I don't know... once you have laid eyes on your new sweetie, it's pretty hard to keep your hands off of her

She was a doll that had come from a repair facility and was several months old. The guy that brought her had washed her up so she was nice and clean. I also get the same dermatitis reaction from anything made from TPE like oneholes and Fleshlights. That was why I didn't go TPE for my first girl to begin with as I knew I already had the problem. I actually have to wear a special bracelet in the hospital with the TPE allergy listed on it as some medical instruments are made with TPE.

Status update:
After 5 days my arms are back to normal. I still have to rub moisturiser in but all of the itching has gone.
Ami will still be sleeping in her box for a few weeks just t be sure.
Gave her a good powdering this morning and discovered a myriad tiny cuts and blemishes on her skin. Surely TPE isn't this delicate?
I seem to be spending more time repairing her than loving her!
We did manage a few photos.

Good to hear you are recovering, and it looks like she is happy to stretch and kick up her heels!

Nice photos! Hopefully, you are able to end up using her after the chemicals have dissipated some more. Keep some Diphenhydramine on hand for the next time you test her out.

WOW, that is horrible. Being allergic to my lover or cheeseburgers would seriously darken my life. I wish you the best.

I am allergic to newer tpe. My throat gets scratchy and soar and my eyes get itchy and my nose runs. If i get itchy skin it is very mild and goes away quickly. Cheaper tpe dolls are not made of the same tpe as more expensive dolls from reputable vendors. Going silicone if you are unsure about allergies is the best thing you can do.

Had a sit down with Brassock this evening. Not that I mind that much, but I've been noticing that he has been avoiding Kelsey and has never even used the insert with her. We're pretty sure now that he's allergic. Sadly, it's more than likely that she'll have to go to a new home. We both feel like crying. it's just not worth his health for a sexy doll.
