Pippa pulls the chain - a safety briefing for TPE dolls

Post by Pippa »

Hi!

I'm Pippa
Image
and today I was peacefully contemplating
Image
looking out of the window
Image
quite privately
Image
when I became aware
Image
of my man showing up and not bothering to look at me properly
Image

Trust him to show up just when I haven't got any clothes on.
Image
Typical. Right lecher he is.

I thought I should talk to him seriously
Image
and that should serve him right for interrupting my privacy
Image

So I told him
Image
how so many of us had been kept in the dark
Image
on the matter of doll safety
Image
when pulling the chain.

It's hard to imagine
Image
that there's an art to us looking after ourselves but really it's not as simple
Image
as it looks.

You see, because we're TPE and our humans have saved a lot of money buying us rather than our expensive Platinum Silicone cousins, we've got simpler skeletons so that we can give them our bodies without them having to spend so much. This results in us not being able to rotate our wrists at our wrists, it's so important not to twist them. Going up and down is one thing, but twisting them strains the wires and makes our fingers go in odd directions too. So we have to rotate our hands from our elbows. This isn't as obvious as it might be, and can make our joints rather painful eventually.

So coming down after pulling that chain, we have to move in stages
Image
and then rotate at the elbow
Image
so that then when our hand is down it's flat on our lap
Image
rather than the other way at 90 degrees
Image

Moving in these stages, hinge by hinge, joint by joint,
Image
puts our limbs in the direction
Image
that they like to go in. In order to be nice to us, our men and women have to be nice to us
Image
and to do that they have to think for us, to think as us, to be . . . as us!

And so, my sisters, your humans need to understand how to put sunshine in your life
Image
so it's vital please
Image
to try to get your humans to understand how you think
Image
and that you're not just that sexylady
Image
to be oggled at
Image

Love and kisses

Pippa xx

The light in the bathroom was very special
Image
but Pippa's photogenicity really struck me in the course of these photos. She's an extraordinarily natural sculpture and possibly in an isolated photo would be difficult to identify as a doll rather than a real person. She is a real joy to see!

Best wishes

Poppa is so beautiful. Great photography, setting, posing, use of light. Really well done.

The narrative on positioning is good advice. "Humans need to put sunshine " in our lady's lives.

very informative. also in the United States pulling the chain means something else. It means to deceive or to trick someone. Which is not the case here.

Thanks

I don't know how they have improved the wrist skeleton or not but one of the reasons for wrist failure is the necessity to alter wrist direction at the elbow rather than the wrist. It's in the turning of the hand at the wrist that the wires to the fingers twist and turn sending fingers in all sorts of odd directions that you see in photos.

These dolls are well produced within the limitations of the simpler skeleton to that with which I'm familiar with my silicone dolls, and they suffer from trying to do a little more than they are built for in terms of posing for photography - but with a little understanding they can be managed very effectively and Pippa is a classic . . .

Best wishes

Could you elaborate on this statement? I was not aware of any facts proving that DS Dolls have a more advanced skeleton than these do? I know there is some shoulder joint on DS but nothing else that I know of. More details about this would be nice.

I think the wrists have been improved atleast two, maybe even three times since this. My oldest YL is about a year old and she does not have this feature of fingers in all directions, unless I pose the fingers that way.

The dolls with which I'm familiar actually rotate their wrists at the wrists. Pippa has a squared metal forearm rather than a cylindrical section and to which the hand and finger wires are attached directly I believe, and any twisting there causes odd directionalities of the fingers as well as metal fatigue. In order to redirect the direction of the hand it's necessary to raise the lower arm to a right angle to the upper arm and then rotate at the elbow to bring the hand down in the desired orientation.

Likewise the rotation of the feet. With respect to directing feet at the knee rather than the ankle, this was something I'm familiar with with my older silicone dolls.

Of course news of WM skeleton upgrades will be very welcome - but damage to dolls occurs when people don't really understand the directions in which the skeleton wants to move, so all info on this subject is very helpful.

Best wishes

Hi Harem,
This is a really great tutorial thread! Not only very informative, but put together in a very fun, sexy style by Miss Pippa. I had a good laugh as I went through the beginning of the "show" and just when I got to the pic of Pippa sitting on her "throne" ... I broke out in a very robust laughter fit!! I am glad this thread got bumped up ... I had missed it before.
Cheers,
