Evie is undergoing foot surgery at the moment.

She is being a very patient patient.

Evie's foot mod experiment was a success.
The intent was not to give her standing feet, but to make the soles of her feet more durable. That part worked so well, that it could possibly extend to standing feet.
If not a conversion from non-standing to standing, at least make the soles around the standing bolts more durable. Check out that thread (above) for details.

Also received some very good news... Evie's replacement body has finally been made and will ship out next week!
Still waiting on factory photos but, finally, there is light at the end of the tunnel... hopefully it is not an oncoming train!

We will see. Fingers crossed.

And now the bad news....

Got the FedEx tracking number today (YAY!)

The shipment is in 2 pieces... ???

Total shipping weight listed as 48 lbs / 22Kg.

A) This is a replacement body for the wrong one they sent back in January, so only the 168G body was to ship.
B) The WM 168G body is their heaviest doll... 110 - 120 lbs according to various websites.

WTF IS GOING ON, WM ?????????
Are you that incompetent that you cannot fill an order for one doll?
I ordered the doll on December 13th, and it doesn't look like I am getting what I ordered even in MAY.

The latest update...

According to the Shipper, the head and body are being shipped in separate boxes. They were instructed to not ship the head, but I suppose that translates to "don't ship them in the same box".

One of the boxes is doll-size, and the other is a small box weighing 5.7 lbs.
So the mystery is the "Total Shipping Weight" of 48 lbs.
I suspect the unit of measure is wrong and the total shipping weight is actually 48 kg, which would be about 105 lbs.

That I can believe.

So it looks like it is good news all around and the shipment is moving through China as I write this... and the expected delivery date is... tomorrow. LOL.
OK, I don't believe that, but at least most of my fears have been relieved, for now.

@HonkyDonky I'll get her some panty hose and post some pics for ya when she gets here.

She's here!

Finally, after 4+ months of waiting. Evie's sister, Gabriella arrived today.

(I am very unhappy with the Quality Control and Customer Service of WM.)

Unboxing, Measurements, Product Review, Opinion, and Photos.

She will get her own thread later.... maybe a "sisters" thread as well.

Bath time!

You are quite welcome... but that was Gabriella.

Evie is currently undergoing more repairs to get ready for another photo shoot.
She is being cast in a "private" movie involving some light bondage.
I am not permitted to divulge details, I am only allowed to post the photos I take before her casting calls.
Once filming starts, her work is the property of the customer that contracted the film.

I am looking forward to the shoot.
Stay tuned. Photos coming soon.

Well, it is with a heavy heart that I must retire Evie for good.

She is constantly in need of repairs, and it has gotten to the point that I just can't keep up.
The damages she is experiencing are not things like falls, cuts, or abrasions. This appears to be more of a "falling apart" kind of thing, rather than "abuse".
The metal skeleton is starting to show through her skin at hands, wrists and elbows, leaving what looks like a "shadow". At first, I thought this was dust or lint, but it does not clean off and inspection reveals it is the skeleton bleeding into the tpe where the skeleton is not wrapped.
Cracks constantly appearing at the groin and butt crack, as well as an internal degradation of the tpe inside her holes. Further inspection inside reveals the canals have enlarged where the tpe has crumbled away. It appears as though there was an air pocket in the tpe about where her left kidney would be.

I read here on TDF of people who have had their dolls for years, and I expected to do the same. I was diligent in maintenance, repairs, and protecting her from damage using the best advice from the experts here.
This, (and my other experiences), lead me to believe that the problem is a matter of manufacturing quality. It's not like she was being "used" every day, or even every week. And, even if she was, isn't that what love dolls are designed for? Once Gabriella arrived, Evie was only used for photography. But even simple posing results in loose joints and cracks in the tpe.

Now, I am beginning to see similar symptoms in Gabriella, so she is being treated with extra-special care in hopes that she will last longer than 6 months.
This has been a very expensive lesson learned.
