Saying goodbye to a doll, WM163C #36 head

Post by dparson »

I've been considering an upgrade to the 157B for several months, but when @mandos showed the new 166C viewtopic.php?f=215&t=108667, I felt that I no longer had a choice in the matter. The order was immediately placed.

I was planning to keep my current doll, a 163C with #36 head from 2016, but all the improvements WM has made during this time threw that idea out the window. The new body is just too incredible, so in memorial, here are a couple of pictures before she goes to doll heaven.

She's cute.
I have 8 (9) dolls now so I guess my answer to the poll questions is obvious.

When you say doll heaven, are you going to sell her or???

Sounds to me like she will be destroyed. Hell of a shame, too. She's pretty, and it looks like she has the green eyes that are actually green and not yellow. Even as beat up as my old 140 was when I got my 156c and 157b, I couldn't bear to destroy her. So I've been fixing her up little by little. Hopefully he decides to let her go to someone who would do the same. It would be a waste to scrap such a beautiful doll. Hell, I'd take her in a heartbeat if he was just getting rid of her. My girls wouldn't mind.

I agree, someone would be happy to take her. Or even buy her. I do hope that's what you mean...

I have 12 now I think.

I've got more coming in each week.

Space is becoming an issue.

I take any doll for recycling in any condition. I'll provide the return shipping label.

Even now as crowded as it's becoming.

I would personally use this as an opportunity to learn how to do pro level TPE finishing and repair.
As long as something isn’t wrong with her that’s irreparable I’d keep her and fix her up.
Besides, put them both in a really nice 69 position and I’m sure you’re going to want to rethink the notion of getting rid of her.
Just my 2¢ though.

I'm kicking myself for not asking the forum beforehand, I had no idea there was a market for a used doll. I kept the head but the body is gone.

Stomach turns

This of course is the learning curve that if the human race simply consumes, in due course the human race will be gone.
