PLEASE HELP! KENNEDY SUFFERS MAJOR INJURY

The short story is that Kennedy started to fall forward, I was behind her, I put my arm around her waist and her back "broke".

PLEASE HELP!

I felt around the best I could and it FEELS like her spine disconnected from her pelvis/hip bone.

Is there an easy fix? Does someone have a schematic or diagram of her skeleton so I can possibly figure things out WITHOUT cutting her?

She in a WM 160 doll.

You will have tocut into her. How long have you had her?
Is she baught new or used? Feel free to p.m me. If she is relatively new i recommend contacting your vendor or manufacturer

I am so sorry, but you are most likely going to have to cut her open.
Basically, imagine an upside down "T".
The weld gave away.
Some how you are going to want to insert two T brackets, screws, JB weld, whatever.

The doll is a month old, i encouraged him to contact the vendor first. He should get a new body, if not i am here to help!

Do you have any photos of what it looks like in there and what I am having to deal with? If not, I understand, its business and all that, I just want to see / figure out what I did and what I have to deal with..

This is physics 101.
By grabbing her around her waist, the most torque was placed on the pivot point of rotation.
Work = force times times distance
Now, if you had been able to grab here around her neck and waist, then it would have been reduced.
Your vendor should be able to make things right.
This is a classic example of why to always have a 3rd point of contact

I am alway SOOOOO careful with her and it was just an "all of the sudden/super panic mode" situation. I always carry her, one arm under her legs, one arm behind her back, like she's my bride being carried over the threshold!

She was standing next to me, I opened the spare bedroom door, she started falling forward, my hand was around her waist, when I went to put my other hand around her chest, it hit her shoulder making her fall forward faster and all the sudden I heard the "pop" and I dropped to my knees yelling "NOOOOO!!!"

I put her on the bed and did the initial "check up". I was HOPING it was just a "ball socket" that popped out. I should have known with my luck that it's a broken weld.

I will keep you posted on what reply I receive ....

Man, I am so sorry that happened.
I dread that happening to my Zeni all the time.
I feel your pain and hope it works out.
I know you probably going through a lot, I know I would be.
But be patient.
Never make a decision when you're upset and impatient.

Being patient is going to be somewhat easy in this case. I was putting her in my spare bedroom, which is kind of her room as I do all her maintenance in that room. I'll be away until Friday so hopefully, I'll get some issues resolved.

It's all got me kinda messed up in the head right now.

I hope you manage to get your Kennedy fixed.
I can imagine you'll be feeling a bit distraught at the moment as we do get attached to our girls.

This is possibly what happened, or thr weld just broke loose. this looks catastrophic here:

Sorry to hear about this happening. I just do not think her back should have broken.
Looks like the skeletons are getting cheaper built as of late... with the secret swap from hinged to goose neck we had a while back, to now thin metal which is technically overloaded by the doll's weight.

It isn't necessarily the thickness of the metal, it is more about the alloy and content of the steel. For instance, you could have a piece of 1/8" thick 5160 steel that would be stronger than say 1/4" mild steel. If the metal is cheap or full of impurities, it doesn't really matter how thick it is.

We needthepictures of your dolls damage. The vendor WONT help without the pics. I can't help without the pics
