Shrugging Shoulders?

Post by LatexLadyLover »

Is WM and 6ye the only dolls offering Shrugging Shoulders? I think they look very natural when their arms are above their heads. I would like to see alot more pics of this. What other brands offer Shrugging? Thanks

JY and SY have shrugging shoulders. All Jinsan dolls have that option - WM, OR, YL, and Jellynew.

Are the only dolls able to lift their arms above their heads the ones with the shrugging shoulders option? Can anyone elaborate on this? I haven’t tried to lift any of my dolls arms above their heads for fear of putting extra stress on the TPE, but I didn’t know that they couldn’t without that option.
I have seen photos of dolls with their arms above their heads before this option came out though.
I know with the clones it really shouldn’t be attempted. I read somewhere they don’t move that way. Although, not all clones are created equal either.

My WM (without shrugging feature) can put her arms over her head, but it looks unnatural, and as you suggested it probably stresses the TPE some. I think it's safe enough to put them above her head for a photo or two, but I wouldn't feel comfortable leaving them that way. And, like I said, unless you hide it with carefully chosen clothes, it just doesn't look quite right to me.

Broven is exactly right. They can do it, but it looks weird. And I would not even attempt it on a silicone doll, which might split. TPE is far stretchier, but I still wouldn't leave them like that for long.
