Wow, that was not an easy decision.

So many things to customize and so many options... Ended up going for a WM163/C with head 74 after going back and forth a million times between heads 74, 118, 159, 188 and 220, lol. Even considered the IT-168 (Ayumi), but went with WM and the 74 in the end. One of the reasons being the wider selection in heads, so I'm sure I'll buy a different head (or doll+head) for some variation down the road if this turns out to be the thing for me.

Now the agonizing wait begins, hope I can last that long without buying her a couple hundred euro worth of stuff in the meantime.

Anyway, this is my first post here as well, so hello everyone.

Congratulations on taking the dive into the doll world Bobby_B. And welcome to TDF.

The WM163/C with head 74 sounds like a great combo and I look forward to seeing the photos you post of her.

Go ahead and spoil her and buy her some clothes. I don't have any size recommendations for that doll but I bet you can find something here on the forum using search.

Hey Bobby, which vendor did you end up purchasing from if you don't mind me asking? Also, great choice on head #74 -- it's the same one I finally settled on. Should pair well with the body type you selected!

And yeah, the wait is brutal -- I'm 24 days in and still have a long way to go. Window shopping for clothes is a fun diversion, but I've mostly been focusing on exercising to keep my mind occupied and prepare myself for the arduous task of carrying around a 48.5kg (107lb) doll!

74 is a great choice. That was my first head too. Even after 20 more heads, 74 is still a favorite.

Congrats! I have head 74 as well (though WM168E body). Very nice looking face, definitively the hottest European looking face that needs the least amount of makeup to still stay hot and without causing any "uncanny valley" in me.

I have 3 QUICK TIPS TO MAXIMIZE FIRST IMPRESSION so you get the best first possible experience with your very first doll:
1. Avoid masturbation and watching porn AT LEAST ONE WEEK before you know you will get her. This way, your orgasm(s) inside her will be amazing and associated having sex with her. Once you pop you can't stop, as they say!

In my case I had blue balls when I received her and I had multiple-orgasms inside of her which was mindblowing to say the least!

If you masturbate and/or watch porn the same day you get her, you will NOT get a mindblowing experience having sex with, and this "poor first time sex" will be associated having sex with her which might give you a negative overall experience with your very first doll. That would just be sad, so avoid fapping & porn 1 week before you get her, OK?

2. After you have cleaned & powdered her for the first time do NOT put on head on body! Begin carrying her to the place where you will have your "honeymoon" together whether it being in the bed or on the sofa. Then you put on clothes on the body without head on. After that you put on the wig on the head and THEN, FINALLY, you attach the head on the body. This will create the sudden experience of, "Woah! There's another human being here and she's hot AF!". This will make you want to take her right there on the spot. Combining this with the first tip above you will just not be able to stop yourself and she won't even complain about that!

3. When you engage in the sex and just can't wait to stick it in, BE CAREFUL WITH YOUR BODY. Of course you should also be careful with her body. What I am saying is that some of her joints might be more stiff than others and I have found that trying to manipulate very stiff joints can cause damages to your muscles when you overextend with your own force.

I damaged my muscles around my left elbow when I tried to manipulate left leg around the hip on my Jenny and I am still hurt in my elbow so I need to rest it (probably for weeks unfortunately) and be more careful now. This created a subtle "dissatisfaction" with her because I got pain from her rather than pleasure! :PBut things will get better.

BONUS TIP 4: I wish I had done this when looking back; invest in a high quality wig for at least 35$ or more. The wigs you get remind you of those party wigs that you buy for Halloween or another event that you only use once while the wig you will put on your doll will probably stay for at least weeks, maybe even months or years!

The wig has a powerful effect on how you perceive her face, whether you want that long sleek hair or wavy or curly hair or even a nice bang cut over her eyes that cover them somewhat so you get that more mysterious yet seductive look from her. In other words: get a hot wig if you can before you get her and throw away your other wigs you get or at least use them as only "placeholders" until you get a real wig. Why would you want to put a 10$ party wig on your 2000$ doll?

BONUS TIP 5: So I just tried this as I am writing this final tip to maximize your first impression; I used regular water-based lube to get the insert inside the vagina cavity, no problems. Then I used another water-based lube, water-based WARMING lube and O. M. F. G.! It is extremely close in terms of physical sensations as in having sex with a "regular woman". I should have gotten this warming lube before my first time with the doll.

So, I highly recommend that you get one water-based lube to get the insert inside the vagina cavity (this means you need to dry her vagina cavity out after sex with a white microfiber cloth that you allow to just sit there with wide-spread legs and then you keep it open one hour or so to air dry the rest.

Then you apply some water-based WARMING lube inside the insert and some on your penis. Experiment until you find the warming lube that is not too sticky. The one I have is AMAZING because it is not only warming but also extremely non-sticky and still giving a nice glide. I read somewhere else here that you need to try different water-based lubes until you find "the one" that gives you the kind of lubrication you like; maybe you like sticky, maybe you don't. Find whatever works for you!

I'll get a proper wig at some point, but maybe first I'll grab a couple (2 or 3) shitty and cheap ones off aliexpress or something, just to see which style I prefer.

I agree with curiousswede, except for one thing:
You do not want to screw on the dolls head with the wig on the head.
I’ve seen the nightmares after people have done this.
Screw the head on first, then put on her wig.
And always remove the wig first before removing her head.
I believe there’s a thread called “in trouble“ on page 2 of the WM section that shows one guys horror story.
