The best way to fight mold is BEFORE it grows.

Rather than straight bleach mix 50/50 water and bleach, could even add a bit of dish soap. Soak a paper towel or a small cloth and stick in there. for a couple hoursAeon wrote:How can I glue her mouth?
With what kind of glue?
Keep doing that and scrub best you can. Might even try a toothbrush to help scrub lightly.
You do not need to glue her mouth shut. If you can beat this. Your pic does not look like mold is up very far. If you just kissed her.
It's live and learn right?

Are you the original purchaser/ owner of the Doll, I can't imagine how Mold would be already growing in a Factory New TPE Doll.Aeon wrote:The mold was there when I bought it (just a little bit) then it spreads recently...

I bought her new.
There was a bit of black stuff just near the teeth I thought that it was some burning mark, it bothered me but I forgot about it.
Until I saw that it spread...
Bleach do not take of anything.
How to glue the mouth permanently?

I used bleach baking soda.
Now I would like to seal permanently her mouth.
What kind of clue should I use?
Thanks

Testors plastic model cement may work.Aeon wrote:The problem is fixed.

No point in spending a load of money on this. If you are planning on replacing the head. Or even the entire doll.
As far as a new head, you may have a bit of difficulty getting the skin tone of a new head to match. Hopefully not, but is something to take note of anyway.

There is a product that can melt the tpe together what is it called?
Re: Big trouble in little China (Black mold remover)
There is a TPE "glue" vendors sell. Not cheap. For decent fusing on TPE I'd melt with a solder iron, but that's tricky. A bit of a learning curve.Aeon wrote:RGC_0767 wrote:Testors plastic model cement may work.Aeon wrote:The problem is fixed.

I do not recommend any solvent from a hardware store. Do more harm than anything. (ie. Xylene)
Crazy glue can work too. use it past the teeth, that way nothing will obviously show. Dries hard.
I did test the Testors model cement. It works to a point, if area is not going to be put under stress. it's only 4-5 bucks
Others may have better ideas.

LOL.... Caustic!!kambui wrote:Xylene.
Not a great idea. For the amount he would use, not worth buying that. And not worth melting the mouth all to hell!!

I dunno but Samara suggested he clean up mold then seal the mouth up.
I would try to keep it clean and dry and leave it open.
Unless she just never stops talking, then it shall be sewn up!!! LOL
