TPE Stain remove. Need help

Post by sanyav »

There is a big dark spot on my doll.
I tried soda with baby oil. I have applied it for two days. Did not help.
The stain has not even become smaller. What else I can do?

Is this a stain from an item clothing or furniture?

You could try spot cream...10% Benzyl Peroxide...many members have had success with this. it will fade and eventually go on it's own though in time btw.

I have had great success with Oxy 10 creme (Benzoyl Peroxide). I apply a thick layer and leave it overnight. Once in a while it takes a second application.

Hi,
If she is WM, she should be fine using that, but you should test on an area like top of her neck to be extra safe.
Now, on other brands, it made things worse and we would not suggest using it OVER and OVER again since there is a difference of hiding a stain vs actually removing it.
Best,
Jeff

Given the cost of the doll, I prefer to use Indigo's stain remover (available from DollStudio) - which is formulated specifically for this, rather than using something else that does it as a side effect!

You can also use a PeroxiCare toothpaste by Arm and Hammer and kill to birds with one stone... remove the stain and brush your teeth. As for the instructions for application just coat the area with your finger and wipe where the stain is, let sit for a day then remove with a washcloth. Repeat if necessary. This is what works for me.

Of course, if you have doubts about your TPE try it in an inconspicuous area first.

I had a stain problem due to a black wig lacing. At someone's suggestion I got this and it worked like a charm. No elbow grease required. It has the same Benzoyl Peroxide ingredient mentioned.

You can get in online or at the drugstore.

adelea,
Yes, we carry his products too.
That is IMHO the best way sine it removes the stain by pulling it to the top vs "bleaching it out of sight"
Best,
Jeff

You should use stain remover cream from WM.
I did after a bad decision trying black dress on my
Fair skin WM, a whole tub $35 now perfect with
NO damage.
