I have several pieces hanging out in my freezer. Different sizes and colors, but all Jinsan. Doll 4 Ever is sending me samples soon also. That's right, I'm getting some TPE samples and some other accessories form Doll 4 Ever now.

At this point I think the test is just taking up space in my freezer. I'm not sure how cold it is, but plenty cold to freeze things. The TPE has gotten cold. That's it. Even TPE laid on frozen solid surfaces shows now change other than being cold.

I've got a piece that's somewhat crimped in the freezer. So far I'd say it's got not change to it.

I don't think average freezer cold will do it.

Time to buy a block of dry ice. Maybe some liquid nitrogen.

Grim, your freezer is probably minus18C max so the TPE wouldn’t get to the critical stage. If you go below minus30C however, the TPE will probably become hard and brittle!

Cheers, Hollows.

I'm pretty sure if I'm determined enough I can freeze TPE. May be fun.

Most people don't expose their dolls to even freezer temperatures. My freezer does nothing to TPE.

Next summer we'll test my Carbon Grey Tiburon, and see what temperature does to TPE in there. Just for fun I'll throw a sample into the elements and see what an exposed Denver Winter does to it.
