Hello. Thanks. I use a 1DX for most of my photos.

I think I am going to buy some backgrounds off of Amazon for photos with the dolls. I don't have much in the way of interesting backdrops accept furniture and such. I rarely if ever shoot indoors so don't have much in the way of gear accept a softbox and a couple off-shoe slave units.
Nice, I have a 7D and assortment of lenses myself. Getting full-frame soon.

I've been using some seamless Savage 107" backdrop papers for some of my shoots, they work well for a few things, bought them from B&H. I fell inlove with softboxes and now grids, most of my live person portrait work was indoors. I plan on taking my doll outside once the weather warms.

Looking forward to seeing your thread pics as you go.
Full Frame has its pros and cons. I have both FF and crop bodies. I have a lot of different bodies I have purchased through the years since digital became mainstream. I still have an old 3 megapixel D30 from way back in 2001 and an original 1D. They still work ! I figure one day they will be collectibles. The one thing that becomes important with FF is lens quality especially for the wide angle lenses. Assuming you use a classic FF format lens, the entire lens is used to the corners and that's when vignetting and softness will show up that you never saw before. For ultra wide 24 and under that's when the differences between a $200 Tamron and one of the Canon L series glasses becomes readily apparent. The latter is usually sharp to the corners with minimal distortions where the Tamron, you pull up the images and are like WTF is this? lol. They are decent enough on other bodies except with FF. Quality drops off dramatically. I found FF gets expensive because you start wanting new lenses. Probably only worth it if you do a lot of shots involving the need for wide pans and angles. Then you discover that 200 2.8 lens you paid for $700 now is going to cost $5,000-8,000 to get the equivalent focal length factor in 2.8 on a full frame.
I remember the 1D!! I had a Digital Rebel as a 1st sold that to buy a 30D, still have it. I am seeing what you mean about the lens cost to go to FF. I have a Canon EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 USM, to find that lens in a FF version is gonna be $$$, same with my 60mm EF-S f/2.8 USM Macro. I do have a 50mm f/1.8 and 70-200mm f/2.8 L, both Canons, atleast those will work on FF body. Was looking at the 5DS or 5DM3, I am told both will demand excellent glass, very worth it though, especially for portraits.
If you get a ff don’t sell the 7d. Trust me. You will miss the mag factor a lot of times. With the new 5ds, Cant beat 50 mpxls unless you want to spend 20k for a hasselblad. But you really need to be spot on with focus and camera support as when you get into that resolution territory, slightest imperfections will show up when looking at fine Details. Then having the extra resolution isn’t much value. For indoor artificial lighting, a tripod is a must.
Definitely plan on keeping the 7D, I need it for sports action. Friend with 5DS told me exact same thing you mention, focus is a must otherwise blurry shots. I know there will be a learning curve to it for sure. Anyways don't wanna derail your thread, thanks!

Great looking combo. I am debating on getting a YL165 after I get a YL170.
I would love to see my Chass and her sister going at it.

I am debating on getting the 170 now that I got the 165 :)

I chose the 165 as a first doll just because I liked the overall curves on the doll -- hourglass shape, nice breasts without being overdone and cartoonish like some of the TPE dolls out there. Everything is in proportion to everything else. Same for the 170 but I just went with the 165 to start.

I was originally thinking about getting the WM165 to start with. Then they added the YL165's to RLSD's site, I started looking at the pre-opt dolls they had.
I was still debating when they YL170's started getting posted there. Only real thing that had me not thinking about a WM170 is they are all H-cups. I'd rather see a doll in a C or D-cup.
When I started looking at Dollicious2's "Meet Olinka" thread I was sold on her as my first. I'm hoping it will be here before her fictional birthday of August 22.

I really am not sure what head it is. When I ordered, I just sent Jeff at BCD photos of the doll I wanted. I wouldnt worry. Mine was packed very well--good enough to withstand an over-the-shoulder drop onto concrete by the FedEx driver pulling it off the truck. Only damage was an eyeball slightly dislodged.

Ok, I will try not to worry. An eye ball dislodged is ok, so long as she doesn't have a huge dent in her backside or something of that nature. I've compared your head shot photo's with mine and I do believe it is the 201 head, just different eye color. Again congratz.

Pretty face.

My doll came without any issues. I read some people say the butt cheeks had deformed from lying down during the long trip but I have noticed nothing like that.

I have noticed no issues with anything really. The feet come packaged in a wrap then covered in styrofoam. I wouldnt worry about damage.

I havent heard about the warm cloth tip. IMO my doll needed no relaxing. The TPE is soft and squishy out of the box.

Sorry I forgot. Here is a snapshot with a tape measure. Unfortunately, I don't think this doll will be good for the doggy style sex position. This refers only to the doll I received and nobody else's. Also, this refers only to this particular position and orientation of the doll --kneeling with calves bent perpendicular to thighs and thighs vertical with back parallel to ground. This is better suited for the missionary position or doll on top IMO..The butthole is barely showing when the doll is bent over. It just begins where the circle is. The vagina cannot even be seen.

Image

Note: When the doll is stand and the legs are not bent, the holes face the rear as they would on a real woman. It is hard to capture this in an image as I cannot stand the doll in a position good enough to get the holes to show. But they do face the proper way. I think it is only when the doll is bent in this particular position that the holes kind of disappear. Doggy style with the doll laying flat would be normal, as would standing from behind. But bent over like this, not so much. My two cents only. Other people's dolls may differ and I do not want to make blanket statements. This refers only to the doll I received.

For me, this is fine as I am content with just having the doll in bed as a companion and for regular missionary at times. But if this doll will be used for dog position, it might disappoint based on this result I see--unless you are John Holmes and/or have a very acrobatic wiener that acts like a sidewinder missile to hit the target.

Also, I do not wish to make it sound like I am saying negatives thing about the doll.Just sharing real information after being asked. I am thrilled with the doll and am more than pleased with what I got. But if you want a doll for doggie style sex primarily, it might disappoint perhaps.
