ELLA ~ YL157 with #286 Head

Like the title my new YL157 #286 arrived yesterday Morning. I will name her Ella.

Stats
Body- YL 157 I believe she is a H cup although it's not well listed and I think that's to do with the nipple size, HUGE!.

Head - 286 Elf

TPE Tone - Light Tan

Weight - Actually she's okay but I was very concerned 43kg without the head.

New skeleton with shrugging shoulders

Purchased through Phil - The Doll House, I have had a few from Phil now.

Box shot

It's Brown and made of cardboard and for a nice change it's not got border force inspection tape all over it.

Inside the box the package is the best I have seen although one flaw in the design is the lack of foam at the head end, and when the stupid delivery drivers put them it rips the dolls neck. It wasn't the case this time but I have experienced this in the past.

This is the flaw where damage can occur. I was lucky this time, Why not put a thin piece of foam in front of the wood board.

I bought this doll " Body " for the Tits alone nothing else, I needed them nipples.

The wig is an old one, the new one is the same only new and it will replace the old one once it totally falls apart.

Ella's absolutely stunning and one of the best ones yet,
I'm a bit confused with her height though, like yourself I have my girls in DM's and that give them extra height but while I was taking her first photos she seems rather tall.

I have three YL Dolls, Emma 148D, Lexy 155D, and New girl 157H so i have taken a photo.

On measuring the Emma 148 is 151 with size 3 DM boots +3cm, Lexy 155 is just over 157 with size 2 DM boots + 2cm, now the New Girl 157 is 166cm with size 3 DM boots + 9cm and to be honest they are not standing bolt upright they are a little S shape and leaning towards the wall, and legs apart.

I have no problem with this, her height is totally perfect, a bit of a bonus, more of a bizarre observation that was bugging me yesterday while taking them photos.

I still don't know why she's so tall been a 157cm but I am not complaining, she is lovely

Hi, yes I've had a similar experience with Keiko, my WM145 regarding variations with height. On paper Keiko should be my shortest gal but in fact she appears to be an inch taller then either of my 3 YL148's, I put this down to the slight difference in head size you can get plus I think she may have a longer neck and so benefits from a bit of a boost in height. Magda, my new WM166C/273 is now my tallest gal, she's currently wearing a pair of DM's and I noticed yesterday that she's a good inch or two taller than my daughter and is a very dominant presence in our house now!

I read your reply and thought if I get chance after work one evening I would put it to the test. The head swapping didn't really make much difference because she is taller in body length. I don't know why I have got such a bee in my bonnet over this, she's one of my favorite dolls and her extra height is perfect. I do think however, if I am right the size be should be corrected, because someone may not be as happy as me. Anyway I was trying to do a few photos for a post I was doing over on the other channel (UKLDF), while I had got four of them in one room at the same time thought I would bring the rest of my Jinsan dolls in and line them all up.

These are my Jinsan dolls, all lined up in the order of height stated...

from left to right

YL-148D classic,.... YL-155D,.. OR-156E,.. WM-157B,... YL-157, ...WM-158D, ...WM-166C... and WM-170H
I would say she's very close to the height of my WM166c and I am very happy about it, but I am really interested why?

The hand on the far left is a WM140 which is correct in measurements but not the real deal, and although I think she is a very close copy, I have cropped her off.

When I post photos like that people will then ask or say that's a lot of Dolls, Well that is only half the story, there is lots of other makes available and I'm not fussy

Hi Tommo and thanks for posting that last pic as it's really useful to compare the heights of those gals and as you say, your new YL157 does indeed look significantly taller than she is supposed to! Thats an impressive line up of some very popular Jinsan dolls, the only ones I haven't got are your new YL157 and the WM170H and my OR156 is an H cup. Makes me think that I should do a similar line up of all my gals for comparison!
