This is Lexy YL-155D with the #84 head, She was my first doll, and arrived at the end of January 2018, Lexy was the start of my life with dolls and my ever growing collection which seems to have grow by 1 or 2 dolls per month. I haven't had much time to take many photos of Lexy on her own she's mainly in a group, and when I was looking through my photos she rarely has her own head on, or her head is on other bodies.
I was rearranging the house this week, putting some dolls away under the bed and into the wardrobes, I covered the radiator up last year so that I could have dolls standing across that wall, I then didn't like the fact the dolls arses were against the wood and nowhere to put the foam in their backs to push them forward because there is a 7 ft window behind their backs, in true Tommo fashion I got the wooden line prop out the garage and fixed it across the window to hold the foam and support the dolls, you can imagine how much the middle of that line prop was bent with five dolls leaning against it, so, I am now on a different plan that's taken most of the week to achieve and I don't like it now, so, next week I will start all over again, it's all about looking after my dolls and keeping them the best I can.
In the process of last weeks master plan rearrange and tidy up, I found the receipt for my first doll that arrive Tuesday 16th January 2018, three years ago today to the date, she's a YL155D body and recently whatever bloody head I feel like putting on her,
I still call her Lexy that is the name of her body and also her original head, that I packed away somewhere during the early part of the week, the head on her at the moment I had last year with another Jinsan Doll, she's not got a name yet, some of you might be really confused now, but, no way as much as me, I realised late last night I wanted to take photo of her and I would need to undo half what I had done last week just to get to her
This doll's been really good she doesn't have a loose joints or even a single broken finger wire, pretty perfect for her age, not bad in three years, I don't bend the fingers excessively, I have other dolls with various alterations on their finger wires so I get them to do all the stunts, I pick my doll for the shot on what she can do and not because she's got a pretty face. I could conclude with TPE dolls are very good, but my next doll was Ginger and she's does all the stunts Sonia a bit of a wreck.
