Buddhist: “The Triple Gem” or “The Three Jewels,” which is the Buddha, the Dhamma, and the Sangha.

There are 3 acts of existence - birth/life/death.

We’ve heard of the concepts of:
child/adult/senior
past/present/future
Body/mind/spirit
faith/hope/charity
thought, word, and deed
animal, vegetable, and mineral
earth, sea, and sky
3 primary colors

According to the Chinese, 3 is a perfect number;
To the Mayan, the sacred number of woman.
Egyptians see it as the number of the cosmos.
Japanese: 3 Treasures – truth/courage/compassion

And now, the one that dwarfs them all - Congrats, Narc on your 3rd anniversary.

That's Waterhouse's Hylas and the Nymphs, one that has been one of my favorite paintings of all time. I remember I had to track it down on my own when I first saw it in a pic itsme showed of girls pillowfighting. It was in the background, and it looked Waterhouse like, that's how I eventually found it was his Hylas and the Nymphs.

I remember the first time I heard it, my ex-wife said it, 'they go in 3's', in regards to people dying in the nursing home she worked at. I hear that same crap people say it at the hopsital I work at, too. Also I think it goes for celebrity deaths they say too.

3 years!!!! We're practically twins. I just celebrated my 3 days anniversary!!!! Tenure here I come. I don't drink but I"ll be happy to share a cherry sprite with you. Congratulations. Just think, in another 3 years, I'll be half as awesome as you. (hey....I can dream can't I).

I did the math. 5075 posts in 3 years. That's 4.6 posts a day (holiday's included). It's obvious that you detest this place.
