Oh yes, that guess is totally correct as you can see from the actual numbers of posts per year !!!

That made me think of a few basic points "creating" a post count like that, made me invest an hour to count posts and do some Excel work, and compare Alex to myself. Alex and I joined the same day and have often been very similar in how we act and how we think. Nevertheless differences came to mind, making the hour of work be even more interesting. Things generally pushing the post count, consideing that many get a doll and almost all with such a high post count are (or were) part of forum management at some time, should be 3 factors, mainly : dolly coming home, join management (a forum more to post), become admin (be nanny for everything)

Now, the attachment shows how Alex' post count (blue) developped, in actual true numbers ...
and red color is this crazy Vanessa in comparison ...
...comparing posts per year to years of forum activity...

Alex : positive exponential development of post count
reasons being :
Alex unlurked at once, was active, dolly arrived a little later, later joined management and added a lot there, last 2 years of activity, Alex has been senior admin, ever since being responsible for all things

Vanessa : negative polynomic development of post count
reasons being :
I didn't unlurk before dolly was on order, then became pretty active, joined forum management very early (less than a year of membership), was in responsability of the matrix all alone ever since, hence with joining management, became admin at once... became less important with changes in management when ownership and team totally changed 2,5 years ago... at about the same time, also mainly was done with dolls more and more, since 2 years, I'm the biggest misfit being about to change gender now and become a girl myself, so I basically stick to management and open forum posts now...
