sharpie stain removal. any tips?

Post by shamwow »

Stupid me, I wanted to darken her lips. I used a sharpie red marker. the stain has spread outward from the lips. Looks like she's been on a 2 week bender of koolaid. Time has not worked, its been nearly a year :(

TPE or Silicone? Last time I used a sharpie it came right off with baby oil. After a year though, I don't know. I use Chartpak markers myself, but only for nips and labia. They're not very forgiving of mistakes. I use regular lip stick/gloss on the lips. Easily removed.

Greetings- like anything else, test first in an inconspicuous place. But the the best thing to remove sharpie I’ve found is dry erase marker. Sound dumb, but works really well on plastic. Not as well on porous surfaces, but mabey worth a shot.

As mentioned test in safe area and no guarantees but at work we mark up everything with sharpies red and black and clean it off later with denatured alcohol. It might be worth a try.

You can use any acne cream or gel with 10% benzoyl peroxide to remove ink from the doll's face if it too has ink stains.
