Sate wrote:The 145 plus like most of the other DS bodies got a better quality softness over time, before they felt firmer though by late 2017 they upgraded to the squishy softness that I got a liking for. I prefer standard DS bodies over the evo versions for that reason alone.
The JM 156 when I owned it did not have great feeling breasts, they were exceptionally hollowed out and feel close to an inflated rubber play ball.

Hmmm. That's not good news about the JM156's breasts since she is/was my top contender for my next doll.
How does her built-in vagina compare in feeling and ease-of-use compared with the DS145's insert?
From what I remember it was satisfying, the anal and oral cavities were used more than the vaginal though since they felt better.
The 145 feels pretty good but you're always limited to only the vaginal cavity, no real variety there but my enjoyment was in the feel of the body for sleep, not really for sex.
How did I miss this thread? I thought I'd seen all of your photos, but I only noticed this collection today. Your Elina is absolutely enchanting.
And there's more... You inspired me to buy my own DS145 Plus Evo. I ordered her 2 weeks ago with the sKayla head. Thanks again for answering my questions a while back.
For the moment I have to use vimeo for video uploading which has a limit for free members like myself, right now I've prioritized unboxing / overview videos over everything else, so if a video was taken down it was likely due to needing the space for newer videos.
I may look into uploading the videos directly as attachments to forum posts though, I know we have the option to do that with some video formats.
From what I remember the most recent 145 I had (made in 2019) had a good soft larger insert that felt really good. I rarely used my old JM for vaginal use so I can't remember it, the oral is really good though on the Annie face I got.
Sate, if you don't mind answering this slightly off topic question,
would you say the firmer silicone+foam combination found in DS dolls make them easier to carry around when compared to something like a Piper doll with its soft TPE?
That's a tough one, if you have two dolls that weigh the same but are made from different materials they have been roughly the same level of difficulty with carrying or moving them. Loose jointed dolls have always been easier to carry from experience regardless of material or use of foam cores, a heavy doll with tight skeleton is generally the hardest for me to carry.
I was thinking that perhaps for ultra soft TPE you'd have more of an issue of your fingers digging into the material when you carry them, but according to your experience it seems to not be the case then.
As someone who is going for loose joints, I'm pleasantly surprised to hear that they are actually easier to carry, as I seem to recall reading people complaining about the loose limbs flopping around when they carry their dolls.
It's just been easier for me that way, my current doll is 84lbs but with a tight skeleton, obviously speaking if I need to move her and she's in a laying down position I won't take the time to bring her into a sitting or curled position to make it easier; it's like moving a tree log.
A loose jointed doll will move with you as long as you prep them properly, putting the arms in the lap and knee bent and such. I haven't yet handled a doll that was so soft that she's unwieldly as well, the closest would be a WM 170cm weighing around 102lbs if remember right. It was already heavy so the jelly skin didn't affect my grip when adjusting her.
I'm currently waiting for a 145 plus. I was wondering if you happen to remember what bra size you found worked best? Want to do some pre arrival shopping. =]
