It looks just like Asian bush. The direction of the hairs is exactly right.

No time machine, Xiaoli is just doesnt subscribe to the plucked chicken look. (and I for one am thankful)

No, thats hand punched by me over the course of around 15 hours. Definitely a labour of love. Heres a detailed view

Did you use glue when doing the hand punch? If so what type?

Also, what did you use, felting needle or modified end of a sewing needle?

Modified sewing needle and no glue. The punched hair stays in ok by itself, however I will be spreading some silicone around the inside of the insert cavity to both lock it in place and apply a little extra strength to the perforated silicone.

I suspected it wasn't factory. Definitely a labour of love. I too plan on doing the same with at least one lucky doll in the future.
I have been a student of pubic hair patterns for literally decades. Proper placement, in the natural rows women have is key to make it look realistic.

I figure, each hair has to go somewhere. Might as well make it the proper rows, and even angles real female pubic hair grows.

Yep this has taken a few revisits to get it right. The key turned out to be not worrying too much about the core area, just make it thick enough to look right, then on the edges ensure the hairs are punched in the correct directions to lay out that way they should be and are singular (so they look like individual hairs not a clump of strands). Finally, press it flat to the body under a piece of nylon from some tights or stockings and steam it to get it to lay flat, then style, then steam again to make it hold the shape and style you want.

I spent long arduous hours looking at naked Asian ladies, studying how their pubic hair lay. To be fair, I didnt mind that bit too much
