Some new update of our robotic doll development progress

Hi everyone

We got some progress on our robot project.
we take some short video,

I put a LED light in the robot head, let her cosplay PS4 video game "Detroit"
hope you like her.
also, we give her a retractable tongue, we find a way that protect the motor inside the mouth from "fluid" intrusion, but unfortunately, there isn't enough space in the mouth for oral function.
anyway, we will continue to develop it.
now the hardware is almost completed (still have many work to do for keep the servos don't broken), and we are working on the soft ware.

I wonder how much different the silicone on that face is from what is used now. It looks very stretchy when her mouth opens up. I would greatly prefer that to the hard faces. Those smiling eyes are powerful! I would love to see that at home.

Looks like so much fun to play with, even without oral function. Still, it's great to hear you're trying to make it water proof.

This is indeed a step in the right direction, as far as realism goes in the doll world.

It's a bit unfortunate I either won't be around, or be capable enough to see & enjoy the fantastic developments I'm sure are coming within the next 10, 20 & 30 years

But for those of you still in your 20's and 30's, wow! It's going to be an amazing ride

This is starting to look INCREDIBLE! Congratulations.

I like her smile.

For those of us interested in photography, she's a the stage where this is all we need merely with a means of control for her to make different facial expressions.

Not sure the LED is particularly needed

Watching this video, it looks really amazing, but I wonder if/when they will develop an English version. I also had a thought: Could she have a program to teach me Chinese? That would be really fun.

Very impressive. In the beginning of your video, I can see her face rapidly touching upon many different emotional expressions. It would be nice to see slower representations that unfold at the rate human emotions change. For example: Surprise to curiosity to discovery to happiness.

Still sounds like an rc car, but that fluid motion is amazing from that Snapchat style video. If you didn’t know any better I think most would find this to be human.

Yeah I just (got) beat (by) 'Detroit: Become Human' last night. Really a must-have game for doll lovers and particularly for those with any interest in gynoids/synths/androids.

I thought it was a nice touch to have that glowing ring on the doll's temple. I'd actually like that as an option on my DS robot.
