Thank you
Hello Seafood
Thank you as well. I will, I am going to post a few things about what I have discovered so far needless to say the ex-lites are a enigma. That being said you couldn't pry Kayla away from me now.

I saw the direction to wrap the insert with plastic- do you have to do that to get it in? Is that because the foam resists it? Just curious. I am interested in these questions before buying her.
Finally, to everyone's knowledge- Is Ex-lite the only foam doll? I wonder when manufacturers will catch on and make a variety of other models?

Yes, wraping the insert is absolutely essential.DTB_723 wrote:I saw the direction to wrap the insert with plastic- do you have to do that to get it in? Is that because the foam resists it? Just curious. I am interested in these questions before buying her.

Kind of annoying I would imagine.

I personally use a small bag made from the Amazon shipping air cushion packing. It is made of a thicker plastic and once a little talc is applied to both inside and outside the insert will slip easily into the bag and then inserting it into your doll is much easier.

So Ex-Lite is one of a kind. I guess there are no other foam dolls made yet? They should invest in it... seems like a lot of people like the tall, light weight dolls....
Re: New Ex-Lite to the forum
Akiko, Sadako and I need to work on Hollywu and save up for one like her.
Congrats and have fun together!
Hugs,
Rari

Re: New Ex-Lite to the forum
You're welcome, as to the Ex-Lite being the only foam roll I don't believe so. There are others although I'm unsure they are still in production, the Ex-Lite is the only one with detachable limbs. For me yes a realistic looking, lightweight and most importantly compact doll was exactly what I was looking for.
Cheers

Thank you I will pass your compliments along to Kayla. Yes she is the only one and there are no plans to expand the family size. Yes you should give Hollywu a nudge I'm positive she would fit in wonderfully with you and your sisters.
Cheers
