I know with Stephanie, Rob from Pipedream definitely has expressed interests in my feedbacks, so going to the source may be the way to do it.
That is a good idea, I would like to tell the higher ups at Happy Dolls how poor their representation is with Beautiful Dolls and that their product has a serious flaw in the skeleton design.
I remember you also saying the guy at Textile Doll was helpful. I still have to contact him and see if it is possible to make just a body up for Eryka. I think what I would do is go for a little wider in the upper body and less in the waist so her body is more balanced out and she would be a firm fitting small throughout. This way I can buy her full dresses too. But still I am on the fence about that as I can get an ExLite for just $400. Granted I would need another wardrobe for her, but that is still cheaper than a new doll.

Indeed it is. For the same $700 for a new body, I could get the Exlite with a somewhat decent 'starting' wardrobe.

Lol, yeah I imagine by winter time Cammy and Jewel will spend more time in bed with me for that exact reason. Stephanie and Riza are nice in the summer time but they can be cold bitches in the winter!

Do you have a way of warming your TPE ladies up? Or do you just turn the heat up and lay them out for a few hours? It is this one disturbing thing about Silicone and TPE dolls that is a big turn off about the material they are made out of. You have to make extra time time to warm them up. Also they are pretty fragile too. Harem was telling me that his Thera has underarm tears and that was mostly from dressing / undressing and that is with Silicone which is more durable than TPE. While the realism award still goes to Silicone and TPE dolls, it does seem the durability and cuddability award goes to the fabric dolls.

I used to do the whole heating matt thing with Riza, but now I don't bother- generally I have very high body temp, so I don't mind it when they're a bit cool in the summer time. In the winter, I spend more time with my fabric ladies.
And yep, durability and cuddle factors definite go to fabric dolls- and ease of use, easy of dress, all that.
The only real plus points in the TPE/silicone corner is the more realistic look/feel, and the realistic weight- but the weight too is a double edge sword.
Oh and, spanking Stephanie and Riza's more satisfying than spanking Cammy or Jewel rofl

Yeah, I like the lightweight of Eryka too. I could go a bit heavier but not by much. 50lbs seems a good idea weight. Some of the DS Dolls are in the upper 50's to lower 60's for a full size silicone doll. They are a bit lighter because they are not solid silicone, but have a foam core. So you have to watch that you don't over extend the limbs as they can tear. It is a shame that the realistic dolls are so fragile.
I guess it can be a pain to heat them up too. With Eryka, I just put the insert under my arm for a bit to warm it up.

Yeah, with heating pads it can take like 30 minutes to get a TPE doll up to body temp- much longer in winter time.
I thought about getting an electric blanket for it but I heard horror stories of dolls melting lol

With anything with heat you have to watch out. You should always have a backup shut off in case the internal one fails. Either a timer that turns the blanket on/off at regular intervals or a heat controlled switch to turn off the blanket when it goes over a certain temp. This is one reason why I wouldn't get a doll with built in heating. If the heater fails inside a doll, you will have a even bigger disaster.
