Interesting RL, it appears the researcher did not have sufficient understanding of the industry at all when he conducted research, I say this because on the doll research, the researcher is merely searching at label/brand level, and has barely scratched the surface.

Perhaps the researcher should have gone further down the rabbit hole to get to the real realm of the doll industry, so for me, the researcher has only researched a fraction of the market sample.

At that price one might as well buy their own doll and formulate their own conclusions.

Basically is a scam aimed a people with money to burn who are attracted to insider-type information.

That price is competitive for a market research document. But only if it is done by an established specialist or institute, if it's a good thorough market research by someone who really knows the market.
But here we are talking about the doll market, and about someone who doesn't know the market. So probably it's worth less than 1 cent.

I would be interested to know how many sex dolls are sold worldwide, and how sales have trended each year...but I've never been able to find any exact numbers. Does anyone have this information?

It does seem pretty obvious that the market is expanding, and there is still unmet demand. I think once they become a bit more mainstream, people start talking about them more, and there is less shaming and stigma associated with them, they will probably have a huge growth in sales.

Thinking the same thing. Just from just browsing through Amazon alone, it seems like the market has grown quite a bit since I started 5 years ago.
