Where does one get Mannequins? Do you get them from stores?

They are store displays (visual displays) sold mostly for retailers. You can search online for mannequin sellers, they differ in quality, size and material. The most common cheap new mannequins are on sale at Ebay. Take your time and look around until you find the best one for you.

I ended up on this forum after looking for posable life-size and realistic mannequins. I had thought that the mall mannequins were too ugly for my purposes, but your photos and that pinterest gallery have really changed that... I might end up getting a mall mannequin and modifying it like you did. Thanks for sharing
