Possible Scam?

Post by Lust Demon »

Hello I'm new to these forums as I'm curious to buy a real doll. This isn't exactly a buy/sell scam, but I'm wondering if anyone has heard of something like this.

So I was looking on this new site called doublelist, that is like a craigslist personal replacement. I spot this add where a guy is willing to let you try out the love doll in a hotel room. Being a little curious since it would be a chance to try one out(knowing the risks), I replied and got a response. The poster claims he is an independent consultant for Abyss Creations. It seems they basically lets people try out the doll and they gets feedback from you. They seemed to only want some info and a good time to set it all up. They even sent a photo of they doll in question, but hard to tell if it's a stock photo. I've seen a few ads like this before on craigslist, but never replied to them.

Is this a scam or has anyone encountered something like this before?

Well it looks like it was on the up and up. I contacted the person and he had set up a session. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to go since he had set it at a hotel in Frisco Texas. A little too far for me. But it seems he frequents DFW so if he's in my area he'll let me know.

Very possibly scam! No manufacturer in their right mind will let you "try" their dolls. No one will touch the doll once it's "tried". The only exception is in the sex conventions, but then you can only "touch" and "feel".

This is more like a trap setting up for someone to jump in.
