I tried autofocus single point, but it did not change.
My camera seems to be not good at taking close-ups.
But I will learn your photo.

GirlsGang
I'm sorry.
If you use English to translate Japanese into Japanese you will mistake the words.
But, I understood this time.
Thank you

Today is a picture of Kylie's face.
I exchanged her eyes with blue.
The color is good, but Kylie has a small face, so her eyes are a little big, it has become a surprised expression

hollows + fentiman
In this Kylie's photo, I used the outside light and light to get the lights clean as much as possible.
How is this photo?

terabyte
I tried realistic photographs with bright blue eyes and outdoor light referring to your Aylen photos.

GirlsGang
The upsurge of your girlfriend's face has become very helpful.
I tried to make the camera the height of her eyes.

What a difference those eyes make!! That 2nd shot is great! I would experiment with moving the eyes in different positions and also using some props. Natural light has a great effect on the dolls, shadows play a big part in highlighting areas

For posing I know if can be difficult to find ones that work, start here:

Yes, very nice! As suggested by terabyte moving her eyes will help make her look less ‘surprised’ and also tilting her head or angling it slightly away from full frontal also helps. Not many real ladies sit upright and stare straight in front of them!

In this shot for this month’s Category B Challenge, I angled Rosheen’s eyes towards the camera but her face is facing away from it!

Less is more sometimes, as we say occasionally! (I’m not sure how that will translate!)

You may like to take a look at the Challenge threads as we find them fun to do and they help improve our skills! Seeing members’ interpretations of the monthly themes can give you a lot of ideas for just your own photography and thread.

Hints: Were are her eyes focused, how do the fingers look, do unnatural gaps show (neck, wrist, etc) ... These are 3 key items to a good photo.

Her eyes have small cavities and can not move.
The photo shows the eyes of Kylie in the center, the eyes used this time on the left, the small eyes on the right,
The center pupil is small,
You can move if the eye on the right is 25 mm, but the eyes are the largest.

Yeah, most doll’s eyes are half round cups but, if you’re careful, you can move them slightly. It takes a little practice. Behind the ‘cup’ is some wadding to prevent the eye from going too far back into the eye cavity. This should allow some movement though. My Rosheen has similar eyes (as do all my ladies) but I can move them a bit and a bit is all you need! If you look at a real person you can tell if they are looking at you or passed you even though there is hardly any difference in eye placement. The camera sees that look!

I’ve seen many members’ photos where one or both eyes of their ladies is slightly wrong so she looks cross eyed, not focused or if they’re looking with a blank look.

If you put your finger on the eye and press slightly you can move it up, down or sideways. That way you can get her to focus on a certain spot (like where the camera is) or to a certain spot to one side or below. Put your head where you want her to look and move the eyes to focus on that spot. It only needs tiny movements!

Cheers, Hollows.

Edit:- By the way, if she looks ‘pop-eyed’ with too much white showing around the pupil it could mean there is too much wadding behind or the eye is not pushed in enough. You can try just pushing the eye in a bit. However, if you have to remove the eye to take a tiny bit of wadding out be careful of the eyelashes! It’s tricky to do without disturbing the eyelashes! (Been there, done that!)

In these photos, it looks like her left eye needs pushing in a little....

Thanks for advice

Even if I put her eyes in the back I will return to original.
Especially because the hole in the left eye is small, it can not move.
I tried to remove half of the cotton inside.
A little, but an eye was set in the back.
Eyes move only up and down though only a little.

That does look better though! It does take practice to move them from side to side. With one of mine I almost have to push the eyeball in the corner of the eye for it to move.

This time shot with 135 cm girlfriend.
Please look at other photos here.

135 cm 's girl can make eyes various angles.
I will try on the photo I changed my eyes.
She moves eyes quite freely.Move it left and right.I made it to an oblique face.
It has become a picture that looks like a human being.
I shot at night, so there is no outside light, so it feels a bit rough, but it got better.

Thank you,
The data of your pose became very useful.
I looked at the pose of the model using the chair.
thanks to you,
Even her wearing lingerie is sexy.
I want a lingerie like Aylen.

thanks for your advice.

The brightness of the night room makes the focus worse.
Is behind her a beautiful picture that is darker than white?
My girlfriend is blonde and tanned skin color.

Yeah, you won’t get sharp focus in low light levels. However, too bright a light can make the skin look overexposed sometimes! It’s a question of balance so that the features show and you can pick up light and shade with the camera! I’ve used flash before but covered most of it with my fingers! Some members use remote soft flash and umbrella reflectors but, unless you have somewhere to do that, like a studio, there’s no point until you’re happy with your results.

As I said before, I find using a number of individual lights a good way to highlight features and get sharper focus. I’ve sometimes held one just above the camera as I’ve taken the shot so what I see with light and shadow comes out in the photo.

You are welcome, glad to help and see your progress! Your chair shots look good! Props have always helped me with shooting dolls or real people, another piece that can be used. I can give you links on where I got Aylen's lingerie from if you wanted to get the same pieces.
