Re: Anastasia in natural lighting
Beautiful as ever, is that a Bolero look or Gypsy. I know i like the look, a beauty in that red dress, the boots & the hat with your great posing & photography bring her to life.Panther68 wrote:All of northern California is covered with smoke due to the Paradise wild fires, so me and the dolls are stuck indoors. So just condensing down Anastasia's portfolio. Just posting the keepers from a photo session taken back in late January.

I see people in the background of some of the photos, Did anyone approach you with questions during Anastasia's photo shoot?

Yeah, I guess it could be the gypsy look, too. Technically, Bolero is a type of dance orginating from southern Spain, like Flamenco. Anastasia's attire is similar to what the dancers would wear. Both these types of dances were influenced by the Gypsies of Spain though they are still considered Andalucian culture.

No, not really. It was about 11 am on a Saturday morning in late January, but a warm day. In fact, after shooting by the tree, I had to carry her to the plaza. Walked right in front of a police car. Nothing, too busy looking down at his cell phone. To be honest that is usually what happens on most shoots.

Thanks Zippy, I think Dr Dollinger has the best close up head shot with his gals, especially Ana his WM #200 head. He has also recently been doing head shots of the WM #15 head, the same head as Anastasia's. You should check them out, they are great and one can see how beautiful this head is, especially the profile.Zippy81 wrote:Damn! Really like the closeups!
Very true, use a SLR as opposed to a cell phone. Also, dress presentable, dress shirt and shoes. Make it look like I am doing a modeling shoot. Works well, sometimes too, well as I have been stopped and questioned by Golden Gate Bridge police. Apparently, any commercial photography requires a permit. Tell them it is just a hobby, they take some photos themselves and are on their way.Dirty Knights Dolls wrote:Those are some beautiful pictures! And hats off to you for taking her outside! I also like to take mine outside, not much issue with people if you are taking photos, they just think you're a photographer using a prop...
Disclaimer, this set was taken back in late January. The air quality is horrendous, here in the SF Bay Area due to the wild fires, up north. So, stuck indoors. Going back and tightening up my dolls portfolios. These two sets posted, were out of 110 photos. So picked the best 20 and deleted the rest. Also moving them from MS One Drive to Google Photo.
Hope to go outdoors, today but it looks like yet another day of smoke.
