Re: Ashaki Sanura’s Family Adventures
I was just assembling a big post on my laptop and was about to hit submit when the laptop went black! I hope it hasn’t given up the ghost as all my photos are on there! I’ll let it cool down and see what happens!
Cheers, Hollows.

Re: Ashaki Sanura’s Family Adventures
Yes, he's feeling better but the consultant just wrote to the doctor to say do some more tests in six months! That's just left so many nagging questions!
However, the laptop finally died for good recently so he's just got a new one which I'm trying out now while he cooks the evening meal! It's not as easy to use as the iPad and I keep hitting the wrong letters! Anyway, fortunately, the man who sold him the laptop managed to rescue everything on the hard drive, including all the photos!
I've just looked back and he hasn't really updated this since May! I'm going to give him a piece of my mind in a minute!
So, here we go.....
This is what he found on a piece of land someone had cleared....
The trouble was, I had to go in my wheelchair passed three immediate neighbours and then at least four or five gardens where other neighbours might be! Our hearts were in our mouths but it was exciting!
This was the entry to the challenge that month (so long ago I can't remember which month now! Hee Hee!
Here's a few from the shoot and I had to put the first of these in as he got two of the forget-me-nots to tickle my nips!!!
….and this is me waiting in the trackway for a couple of neighbours to go back inside afterwards!!!!
Right! Where's that Hollows and our meal? I need to give him a piece of my mind!
Hugs and Kisses, Ashaki.[/color]

Computers are always a pain in the you know what but I'm glad to hear that Mr Hollows was able to recover everything.
And lets hope the future tests are just for routine. ..

I had the pleasure of taking Honey camping recently and She absolutely loved it. We were able to get many nice outdoor shots.
Hopefully you will get to do it again soon, I'd love to see more like that. And I'm sure others would too.

Re: Ashaki Sanura’s Family Adventures
Ashaki and I trawled through loads of magazine covers to see what we could do!
"...but I'm black and all these girls are white" she complained!
So we searched for black girl covers....and there aren't that many!
In the end we went right back to 1954 when Ashaki said "that's the one!"
It took a lot of work from both of us! We started with Ashaki trying to get the pose right which took quite a few attempts! I've protected her modesty here....
Eventually we got to the end result using GIMP and PhotoScape.......
Cheers, Hollows.

Re: Ashaki Sanura’s Family Adventures
One Challenge left for May and that was the miniature one which Fia and Kaia actually won! It was very sunny the day we went outside so the contrasting skin colours was a 'challenge' for the camera, let alone me! Kaia's pale skin kept over exposing! The poor girls' arms ached from swinging around for ages but at least they got some good exercise!
....also it was quite windy so focus was a problem sometimes! We loved this shot but sadly it's out of focus!
We tried different places in the garden....
...but in the end, we found a shadier spot for the final photo!
Cheers, Hollows.
