New Timeline Entry - Elbow bruising and TPE injections.

YIKES! I am so far behind updating Daria's timeline.
Here it is April and I still have an update from last October!.

Daria and I participated in a trial of a new product that CrazyCajun and TripleA (aka April) have developed.

I noticed that Daria's elbow was developing a bruise.
The TPE material on her right elbow was getting thin allowing the dark skeleton to show through.
Her elbow was in danger of splitting apart.

April mentioned in Dolls Alive that she also has this problem, and her partner CrazyCajun performed a procedure on her that fixed it.
He injected a liquified TPE cream into the joint much like a cortisone injection.
Once the TPE cream cures, there is now more padding between the elbow and the skeleton.

This is a close up of Daria's elbow.
I am applying a little tug to show that there are holes that extend to the skeleton.


So we began, and Daria was NOT happy.

New Timeline Entry - A Wild Daria Emerges from the Forest

Still getting caught up.
I should have mentioned in the previous post that the elbow treatment was a SUCCESS.
But now, what else happened in October? Oh yes - HALLOWEEN!

A noise out back attracted my attention.
Squirrels? A Raccoon?
No, this time it it was something very different.
A wild Daria emerged from the forest.


Not wanting to scare her away, I lured her into the house with an offer of a tasty treat.

Daria's busy today catching up with all her friends in Dolls Alive, so I'll use this free time to make an update.

New Timeline Entry - Clothing Alterations. The Skirt.

Daria has a multi part series where she takes articles of clothing that don't fit and fixes them up with her sewing machine,
In Part 1 she learned how to use her Dressmaker II sewing machine - Part 1 - The Sewing Machine.
In Part 2 she alters a bra - Part 2 - The Bra.

Her latest instalment is Part 3 - The Skirt.. All the pictures and comments can be found there.
Here is a summary of the full thread.

When Daria first moved in, I bought her a women's small skirt.
It was way too big and kept falling down.


Daria got out her scissors and sewing machine and got to work..


Then she gave it a good pressing with a very hot iron.


The initial fitting showed that a couple darts were needed to make the waist fit snugly.


And this is the final result.


We haven't done a new alteration instalment in quite a while, but more are planed as soon as time allows.

New Timeline Entry - Christmas Lights.

It's time to bring Daria's timeline into the current year, but first there are the December pictures to post.

I tossed Daria a string of Christmas LED's and took a couple of pictures.
The effect was so haunting beautiful, I spent the next two days photographing her.

By coincidence the December Photo Challenge was "In the Shadows", so I entered this picture..
It tied for second place!


We also have a tradition of taking a Christmas picture.
Every year when the Christmas tree is going up, Daria likes to pause for a quiet moment to ponder her place in the universe.

What a crazy year 2018 has turned out to be.
Daria has gone on a series of adventures, and we invited a new doll into our house.
But before all hell broke loose, we had time for a little fun.

New Timeline Entry - Making a snowman.

Just a little new years fun followed by a hot bath - Making a snowman.


But then things went crazy !

New Timeline Entry - Daria's Phicen Adventure.

This was a 2 month adventure that involved over 70 photographs and gifs.
I can't hope to summarise it all in this timeline, so to see the entire story and all the pictures, head to Daria's Phicen Adventure.

Here is a summary:

Daria uses face cream but it is actually Phicen Cream.


The Phicen Cream cream had an unusual side effect:


Daria is not happy about this change.


Please don't cry Daria. We'll figure this out.


The first thing she needs is smaller clothes, but there are only tissues handy.


Then Daria reaches out to her friends for help.


While stomping on some surprisingly sticky keys, Daria exposes a bit of herself.
Anung notices this and says "Daria, even if you are small, sugar, you still need panties".


Daria quickly resolves the problem to satisfy the panty police.


Now think Daria!

This is the second instalment of our two month adventure.

Daria thinks about who can help her and decides to call Kim..



Alexa answers. Oh No!. Kim is stuck in a box while EBF is away.
Alexa suggests that Daria should tap her heels together just like in The Wizard of Oz.



But she was just joking. Daria is even more upset.
Alexa feels sorry for Daria, and thinks maybe Lexi could help.



Lexi suggests that Daria use Baby Oil to draw the Phicen cream to the surface, and Baby powder to absorb it.
Daria is ecstatic that there is now a plan and gathers the supplies.



First the Baby Oil



Then the Baby Powder.

The powder shots were a whole new experience for me.
I saw pictures like this and wanted to do something similar.



New Timeline Entry - Daria's Phicen Adventure - Part 3.

Now for the third instalment of Daria's adventure.
I did say the adventure spanned 2 months and included over 70 pictures and gifs.

Daria took the oil and powder treatment suggested by Lexi.
Something appears to be happening !!!

oww.... ouch.... , yeow!!!
Sweet Zombie Jesus! That HURTS!!!


Once again, Daria's clothes don't survive the transformation.


I rush to Daria and sweep her up in my arms.


Hugs weren't the only thing we were missing.


Isn't it great how everything has returned completely back to normal.


YIKES !!!


THE END

Daria is back to her normal self.
However she does suffer from a serious side effect from the Phicen Cream.
At any time she may transform from one state to the other.
This side effect is explored in future episodes.
