Re: Model Shots
For this attempt we chose Jessica Simpson. Tiffany doesn't resemble Jessica but we thought we'd have a go anyway.
We want to say a big thankyou to Adelea for making Tiffany a set of lovely brown lenses for her MF EasyMove eyes.
Overall, I don't think this one worked out too well, but we're posting it anyway.
There are a few issues with it:
1) We didn't have the right background.
2) Jessica has fabulous thick wavy hair in her photo. I couldn't get Tiffany's hair to look as good. Maybe I need a new wig that's closer to Jessica's hair?
3) We didn't have the right shade lipstick.
4) The lighting in Tiffany's photo isn't quite right.
Again, we learnt a lot, so onward to the next one.
Re: Model Shots
Also a chance for Tiffany to try out green eyes.
Re: Model Shots
Verrrrrrryyyy nice indeed!!! You did it, it's really hard to match up our Dolls with these Models/Actresses, especially the hair, wig vs real hair. I had that problem with my Meagan Tandy photo shoot. They both look fabulous and the challenge is fun.
Lorrie told me to keep it moving....next Actress from us, soon come. Congrats

Yes, you're exactly right. It's very hard to match up our girls to the actresses, but it's a good challenge as well.
Looking forward to seeing your next photo shoot.
Also, lets hope we can encourage other TDF members to have a go as well.

Re: Model Shots
As it was a rubbish day, Tiffany wanted to play at being a movie star again.
We went back to our favourite movie Bladerunner 2049.
The scene we chose this time was the scene where Officer K gets a bonus for "retiring" Sapper Morton and he spends it on an "Emanator" for his virtual girlfriend Joi.
The Emanator allows Joi to move around the World with Officer K and not be restricted to their apartment.
He's the moment where Officer K turns on the Emanator for the first time and features Ana De Armas and Tiffany both as Joi.

Re: Model Shots
This time we chose a lovely monochrome photo of gorgeous Charlize Theron.
I thought this image would be relatively easy to copy - wrong! Ha ha.
It's only when you try to replicate these professional images that you realise just how good they are.
I think Charlize was either sat in front of a window or a large diffuse light source with the light source behind the photographer.
Some issues are:
1) Tiffany has darker skin compared to Charlize.
2) Charlize's hair is a darker shade of blonde than Tiffany's.
3) We should have used a darker lipstick.
4) Earings are different.
Anyway, here is my Tiffany as Charlize Theron.
Re: Model Shots
This time we chose the stunningly beautiful supermodel Candice Swanepoel in a Victoria's Secret Angel photo (I think?)
This was a another tricky one to replicate due to the very bright lighting used for Candice's image.
The only way I could get enough light onto Tiffany was to take her outside into the sunshine.
Luckily we had a bright sunshiny day so we managed to get a few basic images play with.
So here is my Tiffany as Candice Swanepoel both as a Victoria's Secret Angel.
Re: Model Shots
Again we chose the beautiful supermodel Candice Swanepoel.
We had a couple of problems trying to copy this one:
1) Tiffany's skeleton doesn't have shrugging shoulders so we couldn't replicate Candice's stance (she may be lying on her side looking slightly upwards?)
2) We didn't have the same colour lipstick.
3) Candice seems to be in front of very bright lighting.
Anyway, it was another interesting Sunday afternoon trying to do this and Tiffany didn't complain at all. Ha ha.
So here is my Tiffany as Candice Swanepoel.

Re: Model Shots
It looks more like a softened light with a diffuse modifier, like a double diffused soft-box or diffused beauty dish. In any case you are right, that light is probably very powerful! Keep up these great impressions, they are very cool!djcdoll wrote:3) Candice seems to be in front of very bright lighting.
