I see we have quite a few Fifth Element fans out here.
Anyone who hasn't seen the movie, should check it out.
The costume design was by the famous designer, Jean-Paul Gaultier, and it looks like he had fun creating the futuristic outfits.

And now...... Leeloo is awake.

Leeloo awakens to a strange environment.

For today's picture I sending out a super big thanks to Maviarab.
I spent about 8 hours trying to turn Giorgi's hair from black to orange and was ready to give up.
Mavi saw my post asking for help and sent me an example that he created.
The example has multiple adjustments consisting of Curves, Selective Colour, Colour Balance, Vibrance, and Hue/Saturation.
I followed his example, and voila... Giorgi's hair turned orange.
Many many thanks, Mavi !!!!

I started this post to learn some new Photoshop skills. So far it is really paying off.
Also, you may have noticed that in the original, Giorgi's bottom arm is too low.
It was fixed in post.

WOW.... simply fantastic.. (Notice the orange "wow")..

I have not seen that movie...

But your pictures are wonderful.. Beyond my capabilities... I don't have photoshop..

The orange hair looks tremendous...

there is always a way to manipulate a picture to how you want it.. Well done.

I love that movie. The 5th element is one of my favorite movies.
And Giorgi is great as Leeloo.

I'm sure Daria will make an appearance soon.
We have some leftover bandages from her transformation we could use for her outfit.
She's a little peeved at me right now for spending all my time with Giorgi.

I never did any image editing until Daria arrived in 2015.
I started using the free open source program called GIMP. It runs on Windows and Linux. It has many of the same features as Photoshop.
I switched to Photoshop about a year ago but would have no problem going back to GIMP if I needed to.

And now...... Leeloo realises she is trapped.

Leeloo struggles within the cryo chamber.

I had fun creating Giorgi's reflection in the chamber.
The warp feature makes it pretty easy.

Hair is still a challenge.
I'm getting better at extracting it from the background using channels and then adjusting the levels to create a hair mask.
The difficult part in this picture was trying to colour the hair that is over the skin.
Don't look too closely at it because it's a bit of a hack job.

Giorgi is looking very calm in these trying situations.
Too bad FaceApp only has Smile and Tight Smile.
I would love to see additional expressions like "Surprise, Fear, Shock, and Pain".
