Chapter 1: Katie's Ascension
My name is Katie Angela Floren. I was born a High Elf in the forests of the Netherlands. Life was very peaceful there. However, I always had this strange feeling. A feeling that I was suppose to be special somehow. Everyone treated me differently. My family protected me like I was some kind of delicate crystal.
I moved to the USA last Fall (2018), to be with my lover Frost. Things were amazing right from the start. We got married in December 2018. The house is filled with love, excitement, fun, and happiness. Yet... I still can't shake this feeling I have had since I was a child.
It happened yesterday March 21st 2019. Me & Jessica were out walking, when we spotted a very old abandoned building. We entered, and looked around. It was very cold, dusty, and creepy. Jessica insisted that we check it out. I sensed that something was off though.
Jessica: Come on Katie, hurry up!
Katie: I'm coming, but I don't think this is a good idea..
Jessica: Look at this room over here. It is full of old books.
Katie: I don't think we should be here Jess. I feel really wierd. It feels like something is pressing against me.
Jessica: Maybe it's a ghost? hehe
Katie: I doubt that.
Jessica: Hmm.. I can't read any of these. They are all in some kind of foreign language.
Katie: "The temple of Magi." "Keepers of the woods." Hmm.... "Katie Angela Floren, born" Wait, that's my name! What the hell?
Jessica: Wait! You can read that?
Katie: It's like the words are speaking to me. "Katie Angela Floren, High elf of Ice Mages." Wait, what? I don't understand..
"Strong winds suddenly come from the walls."
Katie: "To be the next Elven Ice Queen." ...... -OW-!
Jessica: Katie? What's wrong?
Katie: I don't know.. My head... hurts...
Katie: -OW-! Ahhhh.. What the...
Katie: My.... Head...
Katie: What is going on? Wha-what is this?
Jessica: What the hell? Katie, what is happening to you?!?
Jessica: That's it! We are leaving now! Come on Katie.
Katie: N-no. (An echo can be heard within Katie's voice)
Jessica: Your starting to scare me! Come on! Let's go!
Katie: No!
Jessica: Your creeping me out, move it!
Katie: (speaking in another women's voice) "Keepers of Magi, she has arrived. We must show her the way."
Katie: (speaking in another women's voice) "Silence the intruder!"
Jessica: Woh, w-wait, no, don't...
"Sounds of ice crystals"
