Thank you for your positive comments. I may have to do a little "how to" series becouse Veronica has recently dropped one of her eyelashes and I will have to re-attach it.

Hi all!

I had fun time with Veronica and during that time she lost her right eye lash. Also her lips are missing some colour. I had to do some re-beautification for her.

When I started working on her I noticed that her left lower eye lash was also dropping off.

I have extra eye lashes from AliExpress, but decided to use her original eye lash since it was in good condition and this way I don´t have to replace her left eye lash. At the image below I am test fitting the eye lash.

I apply cyanoacrylat glue sparingly to her eye lid.....

.... and carefully insert and hold the eye lash as the glue sets.

While I have the eye lash positioned perfectly I glue the rest of the eye lash.

Her left lower eye lash is positioned and glued.

I wanted to create more depth to her lips by colouring inside of her mouth with a darker colour tone.

I also did some touch ups for her eye brows. One has to be very careful and have very light touch. Eye brows are very visible facial feature and you don´t want to overdo anything here.

One thing that bugs me with these dolls is that their nostrils do not look real. And that is why I decided to colour nostrils with dark powder makeup. This adds more depth and realism to her face.

I added a little bit more darkness at the corner of her mouth.

Lastly I cleaned her eyes with Pled furniture polish.

Next time you may want to slide a small slip of wax paper under the eye lid before reapplying the lash. This is in case you accidentally get some super glue on her eye.
