Actually, I think Mischa prefers the dolls. She never really cares for other dogs. Take her to the dog park and she looks at me. "Really, do you know who I am? I'm kinda important..." :haha4:

Finally, got outdoors. Wanted something different, so I am going for a four doll shoot. Anya, was not too happy to be in the back of the van. She is the lightest of all the dolls, so suck it up, butter cup. Headed up to Baker Beach, San Francisco to get some shots with the Golden Gate Bridge in the background. As I finally got all the dolls carried to the spot of the shoot, a ranger showed up and gave me the boot. He stated that commercial photography requires a permit. Me: But officer, this a hobby. Ranger: If you had one doll, I would believe you, but four dolls, no way. He did let me take some quick photos before carrying them back to the minivan. Got more at the van as I was loading them back into the van.

Should have then replied, 4 no that's incorrect i have 7 or 8 but it's still a hobby. Dress one as a park ranger the next trip he may then let you stay or get a good chuckle.

If that doesn't work you could unzip Anastasia's jacket a little.

Oh man, that Park Ranger must have seen your photos on the site of SY. And after all you style your models so great and the quality of your photos. You can not blame him for thinking you are a pro.
At least all the work was not completely without results and we still got some beautiful shots to admire.

Thanks Boobman, yeah, after he made his comments, he did whip out his cell phone and took photos. At least he was watching over the dolls as I had to carry each one back to the van.

Hey dxc, could be...I have gone to the Golden Gate Bridge enough times, the rangers might be on to me. Good news is on the drive home decided to stop at my local beach to check it out. Perfect conditions and a parking spot only yards away from my usual photo spot. So I got about 2 to 3 sets worth of photos that are much better than the ones just posted.

Did you ask the ranger how to get such a permit?
Maybe it's not that hard to get one. Maybe it's cost free.

Unfortunately, nothing is free around here, that's how they make their money. Taxes, fees, and permits. I won't complain too much as you being from Germany, pay much more in taxes than us, Americans.

Like I said on IG man this is groundbreaking stuff.
It's difficult enough to get one doll looking good INDOORS.
But you managed to get them all posed and ready to go out in public.

Thanks Endless, never really had a chance to get them properly posed. I got some shots of Ayumi and Anstasia leaning on the fence, but Anya and Anzhelika couldn't stand on the sand with high heel boots. I moved all of them down further by the beach access on cement. When I got the last doll there, that's when the ranger showed up. He let me take some quick photos of them after he gave me the boot. So the photos against the van was just where I placed them as I had to go back and forth with each doll. Again, took some quick photos with them by the van and then packed them back into the van. Oh, my arms and back were feeling the burn.

It was such I nice day here on the coast, I didn't give up and found another opportunity. To be continued.......
